Responsibilities:
This position will include, but not be limited to the following:
Duct Cleaning
- Perform duct cleaning in residential homes using portable vacuum and high-pressured air
HVAC Tune Ups
- Complete inspection and cleaning of residential gas furnaces
- Complete inspection and cleaning of central air conditioning units
- Perform safety check on residential HVAC systems
Customer Solutions
- Recommend and explain to the homeowner the services needed to prolong the lifespan of the HVAC equipment
- Share the results of the safety check with homeowners and make them aware of any hazards
Customer Experience
- Ensure customers are comfortable, and understand the work conducted
- Explain the services provided to customers, and what will need to be done to prolong the systems lifespan
Safety
- Actively participate in the company safety program and maintain cooperation to OH&S guidelines

Job Summary
The HVAC position is located in Moose Jaw, SK and typically reports directly to the Site Supervisor. This position is responsible for the inspection, testing and maintenance of all refrigeration, ventilation, air conditioning, humidifiers and air handling units. Duties also include operating the Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS). The HVAC Technician will also carry out necessary liaison with users to minimize disruption due to maintenance work.

Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs and tasks generated by the CMMS.
Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, central and computer room air conditioning systems, ventilation systems, window air conditioners, humidifiers, and domestic freezers and refrigerators.
Perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs to ice making equipment.
Perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs compressed air systems and dust extraction systems.
Maintains all necessary Halo Carbon documentation as per Federal regulations.
Diagnoses, maintains and repairs pneumatic, electric and electronic control systems.
Operates EMCS systems.
Performs sheet metal work and the fabrication and installation of duct work
Prepares estimates for installation, repairs, and renovations.
Carries out installations and modifications in accordance with working drawings, and all codes and regulations, and OEM recommendations.
Orders consumables and material for preventive, periodic, and corrective maintenance, and maintains accurate inventory.
Inspects subcontracted work and reports deficient work of related trades.
Is responsible to maintain a high level of security while performing and executing their scope of work.
Ensure proper maintenance and repair of all tools and equipment.
Coordinates with mechanical and building trades as required.

Purpose:
A dedicated and skilled HVAC & Maintenance Specialist who will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems in a commercial setting. This role involves both hands-on technical work and general facility maintenance tasks. The specialist must be proficient in troubleshooting and overhauling complex systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and in compliance with all relevant codes and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain, and calibrate HVAC/R equipment, including controls, pumps, compressors, and electrical components. Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, performing complex repairs and rebuilds as needed.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all building systems, equipment, and grounds. This includes, but is not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Identify and diagnose issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, equipment malfunctions, and general facility problems. Develop and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
