HVAC Technicians will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing all types of commercial and residential HVAC systems.
Other responsibilities include:
· Maintaining all company provided equipment including service vehicle and tools
· Keep all paperwork organized and handed in on time
· Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
· Repairing or replacing pipes and parts
· Determining the right tools and equipment to complete a job
· Cleaning the job site after the work is completed
· Must be able to service (troubleshoot furnace) and replace
· Must be able to service (troubleshoot Hot Water Tanks) and replace
· Be able to determine layout of systems and networks - ability to read plans
· Install, repair, service and maintain plumbing systems
· Locate and mark position of connections, holes and fixtures
· Cut holes to accommodate pipers, fittings and appliances
and work as determined by owner

As we continue expanding and optimizing our infrastructure footprint, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Systems Advisor to provide technical and strategic oversight for the design, upgrade, and maintenance of large-scale HVAC systems in our facility.
Role Summary:
The Senior HVAC Systems Advisor will provide expert guidance on the planning, optimization, compliance, and performance evaluation of large-scale HVAC systems across Pathway’s data centers, technical contact centers, and corporate infrastructure. This individual will act as a subject matter expert (SME) to internal stakeholders and vendors, ensuring HVAC systems meet business-critical requirements including uptime, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on system selection, upgrades, and optimization for capacity, energy efficiency, and resilience.
- Review HVAC design documents, maintenance records, and performance reports.
- Provide guidance on best practices in large-scale system design (e.g., chilled water systems, RTUs, VRF systems).
- Recommend improvements aligned with ASHRAE, LEED, and industry best practices.
- Support the planning of HVAC projects including budgeting, vendor assessment, and ROI analysis.
- Ensure HVAC systems are aligned with data center cooling requirements (N+1 redundancy, temperature/humidity standards).
- Assist in the development of long-term asset lifecycle management plans for HVAC infrastructure.
- Advise on compliance with Canadian building codes, environmental regulations, and industry certifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; P.Eng. designation preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in HVAC design, maintenance, and consulting.
- Extensive knowledge of large-scale HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, VRF systems, and air handling units.
- Experience with critical infrastructure such as data centers , telecom facilities, or large commercial buildings.
- Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, CSA standards , and Canadian environmental/building codes .
- Proven ability to act in an advisory or consulting capacity with executive leadership and technical teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Position Summary:
In this position you will be challenged to have an advanced understanding of the Building Automation Systems (BAS) Industry. Requires a minimum of 2-5 years of building automation experience. As Systems Designer, new hires will be required to learn a vast array of products, processes, and software systems in support of major projects across commercial and institution projects.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design
- Create / review design submittals (incl. Point list, Flow Layouts, Sequence, Network Layout, B.O.M., etc) by reviewing quote, scope of work, equipment cutsheets and Mechanical drawings as per the project schedule
- Create / review material orders
- Coordinate with our customers and installers as needed to generate accurate submittals
- Issue RFI’s as needed
- Keep up to date project folders for any relevant files and correspondence related to the design of the project.
- Attend site meetings as required
- Review marked up drawings and commissioning notes to create accurate project as built and close-out documents.
- Assist internal/external customers with configuration and set-up of controllers for projects which includes configuration, addressing, downloading, testing and labelling.
- Create internal control panel documentation, coordinate with purchasing, panel shop and project lead as required to execute panels based on customer expectations and time lines
- Assist with database generation by creating and modifying control system graphics.
- Generate Asset Tags and maintain building database using Builtspace software
- Program simple to complex controls systems using factory provided software such as Tridium N4, Honeywell, Johnson Controls
- Contribute to design team standards
- Coordinate with team members (design and Field) on status of projects and Deadlines.
2. Technical Support
- Log and update technical support call’s in our Help Desk software
- Ensure supports tickets are resolved in a timely manor based on current expected resolutions times.
- Make sure tickets are updated with relative information as to the cause and solution for the issue with the intent that the information will be used for the knowledge base
- Assist in the support effort by providing customers (email, “walk-in” and telephone) with technical support and logging all 'tickets' on our Help Desk software.
- Create / review procedure guides and tech tips for repetitive issues.
- Liaison for supplier technical personnel to resolve component or system technical issues.
- Provide scheduled live troubleshooting (i.e. team viewer, connect to site/controller)
3. Other duties and Responsibilities
- Log hours worked on projects, technical support, and other tasks in our project management tool ACE
- Perform Software licensing as required in a back-up role for any software that requires licensing, including Niagara and CCT.
- Set up for all internal/external customer training sessions hosted by the company
- Participate in Training initiatives
- Coordinate with purchasing to maintain inventory of supplies required for design team, including labels, QR codes labels, Printer ink and paper
- Assist panel shop if required to clear any panel backlogs
- Adhere to all company policies
Experience / Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years BAS Systems Design experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC control systems and applications
- Proven BAS System Design expertise utilizing Visio and related software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Software (including Visio, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with clients and contractors
- Ability to multi-task between design, technical support and other duties and responsibilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment with minimal supervision

15 Wing, headquartered in Moose Jaw, is the Centre of RCAF aircrew training and is comprised of 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School (CFFTS) and 431 Air Demonstration Squadron (CF Snowbirds) both located in Moose Jaw, SK. The Wing is the principal site of the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC). 15 Wing is responsible for two different aircraft platforms that include: CT-156 Harvard II, CT-114 Tutor and any visiting aircraft.
Job Summary
The HVAC position is located in Moose Jaw, SK and typically reports directly to the Site Supervisor. This position is responsible for the inspection, testing and maintenance of all refrigeration, ventilation, air conditioning, humidifiers and air handling units. Duties also include operating the Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS). The HVAC Technician will also carry out necessary liaison with users to minimize disruption due to maintenance work.
Essential Job Functions
Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, repairs and tasks generated by the CMMS.
Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, central and computer room air conditioning systems, ventilation systems, window air conditioners, humidifiers, and domestic freezers and refrigerators.
Perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs to ice making equipment.
Perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs compressed air systems and dust extraction systems.
Maintains all necessary Halo Carbon documentation as per Federal regulations.
Diagnoses, maintains and repairs pneumatic, electric and electronic control systems.
Operates EMCS systems.
Performs sheet metal work and the fabrication and installation of duct work
Prepares estimates for installation, repairs, and renovations.
Carries out installations and modifications in accordance with working drawings, and all codes and regulations, and OEM recommendations.
Orders consumables and material for preventive, periodic, and corrective maintenance, and maintains accurate inventory.
Inspects subcontracted work and reports deficient work of related trades.
Is responsible to maintain a high level of security while performing and executing their scope of work.
Ensure proper maintenance and repair of all tools and equipment.
Coordinates with mechanical and building trades as required.
Other duties as required within the capabilities of the individual.
