THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for a role doing what you love at a dynamic and innovative consulting firm? We are looking for a Hydrogeologist to join our team in any of our BC locations on a permanent full-time basis.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct hydrogeological assessments for environmental site investigations, groundwater monitoring, and remediation projects.

Design and implement groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and monitoring programs.

Analyze and interpret hydrogeologic data using numerical and analytical models.

Environmental Site Assessments and Remediation.

Environmental Monitoring and Telemetry.

Prepare technical reports and contribute to regulatory submissions.

Supports permitting processes.

Assist in complex proposals and reports, on time and withing budget.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including environmental scientists, engineers, and project managers.

Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in hydrogeology or related environmental consulting work.

CSAP designation required.

Registered or eligible as a P.Geo or similar professional designation in British Columbia.

Strong technical writing, communication and project management skills.

Field experience with groundwater monitoring, drilling and sampling techniques.

Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Safety training/certification and knowledge of standard safety practices.

Valid Class 5 drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.

We are seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our team in our Waterloo office, but consideration would be given to other Ontario offices. The position will join the Hydrogeology Technical Team of Stantec's Environmental Services Business Line.
Your Key Responsibilities
