They are currently seeking a Hydrogeologist to support the delivery of high-quality, science-based water resource projects across Canada. Reporting to the Water Stewardship Practice Area Manager and Principal Hydrogeologist, this role plays a key part in advancing groundwater science and protecting water systems in complex natural resource and infrastructure settings.

As a key team member, you will:
- Lead project delivery – Oversee field programs, technical assessments, and client deliverables to ensure groundwater investigations are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Solve water challenges – Design and implement hydrogeological assessments, conceptual models, and water management plans that inform water supply, dewatering, remediation, and baseline studies.
- Drive data quality – Conduct and supervise drilling, hydraulic testing, and groundwater monitoring to generate high-quality, decision-ready data.
- Elevate team capacity – Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal best practices, training materials, and continuous improvement across the Water Stewardship team.
- Strengthen client relationships – Collaborate with clients, Indigenous groups, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure transparent, responsive, and technically sound communications.
- Contribute to business growth – Support proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates that align with client needs and reflect my clients' commitment to value-driven consulting.
- 4+ years of progressive consulting experience in hydrogeology for mining, natural resource, or environmental projects
- Registered or immediately eligible for P.Geo. or P.Eng. in Canada
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geoscience, Hydrogeology, Geological Engineering, or related field
- Strong field experience (e.g. drilling supervision, well installations, aquifer testing, safety leadership)
- Proven ability to develop conceptual models, analyze data, and write high-quality technical reports
- Effective communicator with strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently with remote teams
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally
- Numerical groundwater or geochemical modeling (e.g. MODFLOW, PHREEQC)
- Geophysics and 2D/3D visualization (Leapfrog, ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper)
- Experience in water quality management for mines, oil and gas, or renewables
- Familiarity with Canadian environmental and water legislation
- Past engagement with regulators, Indigenous communities, and stakeholder review panels
- Project management or experience mentoring junior staff

CSAP designation required.
Registered or eligible as a P.Geo or similar professional designation in British Columbia.
Strong technical writing, communication and project management skills.
Field experience with groundwater monitoring, drilling and sampling techniques.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
Safety training/certification and knowledge of standard safety practices.
Valid Class 5 drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.
