**Job Summary**
Reporting directly to the Director Operations, the Industrial Engineer will be responsible to study, design, and implement methods and process improvements for both manufacturing and administrative departments. They will apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations. Preparing plans, conducting support studies, and providing analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations will be part of this role. They will be a key contributor to the APEX program and provide leadership and guidance to Continuous Improvement Initiatives throughout the business.
**As an Industrial Engineer, your main responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):**
+ Conduct studies and provide recommendations for improving efficiency and/or utilization of personnel, equipment, materials and utilities.
+ Initiates cost reduction projects and assists with implementation, which may include capital equipment justification by determining cost vs. benefit and return on investment.
+ Leads continuous improvement initiatives applying Lean Six Sigma concepts.
+ Works closely with Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA) and/or Information Technology (IT) to rollout and sustain process improvement changes.
+ Works with Production Management and IT personnel to develop and/or modify reporting systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis with the objective of supporting productivity improvement.
+ Develops and maintains a direct labour standards database for production cost estimating, through time study and/or work sampling
+ Develop and perform analytics related to supply chain and production planning.
+ Evaluate business forecasts and pinpoint any areas of vulnerability of company requirements
+ Able to build and run queries from databases in order to develop and maintain regular weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting including building/maintenance of Business Intelligence dashboards and tools
+ Monitor Target Costs against Proposal Costs
+ Ability to manage, sort and provide insight from large data sets.
+ Ability to seek opportunities for cost savings and processes improvements through data analytics
+ Maintain data integrity of ERP system and fix errors or omissions where required
+ Support, communicate and defend the mission, values and culture of the company
**What you require to be successful in the role:**
+ 3 yr University/College diploma in Industrial Engineering Technology (University degree in Industrial Engineering preferred).
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is required;
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft BI and ERP systems;
+ Effective computer skills including, excel spreadsheets and database creation, maintenance and update;
+ Knowledge of Work measurement using Pre-Determined Time Standards, Time Study, Work Sampling.
+ Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and SPC
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
+ Ability to display data effectively;
+ Good organization skills;
+ Effective customer service skills;
+ Demonstrated problem-solving skills;
+ Works well within a team.

Principle Accountabilities
- Investigate and recommend equipment and processes for manufacture of new products.
- Assist in the development and scale-up of new products.
- Support, investigate and provide remedies for manufacturing process problems.
- As required, establish working relationships with outside personnel to meet project objectives.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of current products, processes, equipment, and procedures.
- Utilizes engineering tools (FMEA, Control Plans, 55, etc.) to support efficient area operations.
- Maintain adequate records and orderly files on all assigned projects.
- Assist maintenance department with evaluations of equipment problems and design requirements of all equipment.
- Assist as needed on environmental compliance projects as they relate to the process function.
- Assist in training of production personnel and creation of supporting documents.
- Work with operating personnel to reduce waste generation.
- Demonstrates practical problem-solving abilities using engineering tools.
Essential Skills and Experience
- B.S. Engineering, Chemistry or Physical Sciences curriculum. Strong preference given to Chemical Engineering degree.
- Will consider a non-degreed candidate with a minimum of five years practical experience in related manufacturing field and a proven history of accomplishments and increasing job responsibilities.
- Excellent problem-solving capability, initiative and both verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail of process, product and material design.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
- Good organizational skills including ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Experience with paper or web converting, coating and/or packaging is desired.

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Industrial Engineer to drive the development of our Lean reconditioning system. In this key role, you will lead Lean transformation initiatives, streamline production processes, establish staffing benchmarks, and enhance operational efficiency to support our rapid growth. - Design and revise facility layouts using CAD software to maximize productivity and resource utilization.

We are seeking two Industrial Painters/Blasters or skilled laborers with experience in industrial projects who are eager to learn new skills. The work involves industrial painting, coating, and sandblasting within industrial environments. We are looking for ambitious individuals with a go-getter attitude who consistently show up to work.
**Responsibilities**
Prepare surfaces using hand tools such as sandpaper and scrapers, and power tools including grinders and orbital sanders.
Support blasters by pulling blast lines, filling blast pots, and fueling compressors.
Assist painters by pulling paint lines and moving lights.
Perform brush and roll painting.
Execute masking tasks using tape and paper.
All tasks will be performed under supervision, with training and mentorship provided.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum of 2 years of construction experience on industrial sites.
Experience in industrial painting and sandblasting.
Ability to travel to the site daily, requiring a personal vehicle.
Reliability and consistent work attendance.
Willingness to submit to drug and alcohol testing.
Capability to work from heights.
Strong communication skills.
Availability for afternoon and evening shifts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
