Job DescriptionCEDA is currently seeking a Supervisor for our Chemical Cleaning team based out of Bonnyville, AB. This position will require frequent travel to our work sites in the Conklin and Bonnyville area.

- Collaborate with management on all operational and personnel issues.

- Develops and maintains positive customer relations by leading through safe work performance and measurable key performance indicators
- Project a positive corporate image to the industry and internally within CEDA and ensures all activities performed are in accordance with our “Mission Statement” and “Core Business Values”.
- Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job well done.

Role Specifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in a leadership capacity is required
- 1-3 years’ related work experience in Chemical Cleaning is required
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum Class 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 2 years
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

HR Related – Supervise, coach, motivate and develop employees and supervisors to ensure all are appropriately trained and adhering to proper procedures. Participates in hiring and staffing for the area of responsibility to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
Inventory – Maintains supply levels for consumables ensuring the adequate distribution of supplies and equipment. Maintain and report on inventory levels, provides recommendations related to alternative options, quantity and timing of orders
Other – Participates in the implementation plans for environmental service programs, ensures compliance to programs and provides reports and recommendations regarding adjustments to plans and/or additional requirements

Qualifications- Post secondary diploma or degree in operations or related field or equivalent education and experience
- Proven track record of hands on leadership of teams driving operational excellence for your client
- 3-5 years’ experience within a Soft Services, Environmental Services environment in a Healthcare environment is a very strong asset
- Superior communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal
- Prior experience and proven success with training methods and techniques
- Strong organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Initiative, good judgement and leadership abilities, supervisory capabilities.
- Good communication skills; both oral and written
- Ability to develop and implement budgetary guidelines for all departments.
