The Opportunity:Sonatus is looking for an experienced System Test Engineer with deep expertise in AI testing to lead quality efforts across AI-driven embedded and cloud-connected systems. This role centers on validating AI model deployment, monitoring, and automation within innovative automotive and cloud environments.
Role and Responsibility:- Collaborate with diverse teams to define testing strategies for challenging and innovative projects.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans using a combination of automation and manual testing.
- Triage integration issues, replicate problems, and assist in identifying root causes and solutions.
- Escalate potential issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to the Project Manager/Executive team.
- Track testing activities, ensuring clear alignment across key stakeholders
- Identify areas for improvement in test coverage and methodology, providing valuable suggestions.
- Act as the gatekeeper for each release, representing the voice of customers and providing constructive feedback.
- Work with the development team to orchestrate AI model deployment and monitoring
- A bachelor's degree (MS preferred) in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other related fields is required.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in embedded software in data centers, networking, security, cloud services, or the automotive industry.
- Proficient in test methodologies with experience in system-level testing of physical devices.
- Familiarity with the Linux command line and proficiency in shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance for the Cloud Platform developed on private and public Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in AI fundamentals, neural networks, and model deployment
- Strong experience in E2E testing of cloud-controlled / monitored embedded products.
- Strong experience in testing OTA / FOTA functionalities.
- Review and challenge product requirements, design, and functional specifications.
- Proficient in developing, reviewing, and modifying Python scripts to enhance test coverage.
- Experience with designing and implementing test tools for AIML automation and deployment
- Familiarity with common test frameworks such as PyTest, Playwright, Behave, or similar.
- Familiarity with test tools like Vector CANoe, VehicleSpy, PEAK, Spirent, IXIA, or similar products is a plus
- Proficiency in JIRA, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

To qualify for this role you must meet the following:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, automation, electrical engineering, or related fields is required.
- More than five years of relevant experience in manufacturing automation management.
- Proficiency in Office and CAD software, along with comprehensive knowledge and skills in mechanical or electrical design, is essential.
- Familiarity with the maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, equipment management systems, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles and practices is necessary.

Job Summary:
Project Manager, BAS will lead a project team, reporting directly to the BAS Branch Manager. The Project Manager takes on responsibility for delivering all BAS projects. The PM has proven people and leadership skills and has a thorough understanding of the Canadian Commercial construction industry, and has a demonstrated competency in team leadership and team building skills. The Project Manager will be working with the Branch Manager and other PMs in resource scheduling and service handling requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates leadership in Health & Safety practices, schedules and reports attendance on weekly H&S talks, uses eCompliance to audit technician submissions and reports to the Branch Manager/HSE.
- Supervision provided by the BAS Manager.
- Responsible for maintaining Ainsworth standard practices in the delivery of BAS projects.
- Liaises with other Project Managers in order to improve our company practices.
- Having a customer facing role, always represents the company in a dignified manner, and has the customer’s needs in mind.
- Is responsible to deliver any and all assigned projects on time, on budget, and with quality.
- Shall look for opportunities to increase profitability within the project via project extras or cost savings.
- Is organized and maintains all required standard project documentation, both financial and technical, as a record for the company.
- Informs the BAS Manager weekly of project status, team needs, risks, and challenges,
- Works with the team PA in order to deliver monthly forecasts.
- Shall supervise and ensure that both internal and subcontracted resources assigned to the team delivers the project TBQ (on Time on Budget and with Quality).
- Shall manage the construction team’s Senior BAS Technicians in providing them with the team’s priorities, scheduling needs and clarification of project scope.
- Responsible for team financial reporting, forecasting activities.
- Be a leader in BAS construction team building activities.
- Provide team appraisals and evaluations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from post-secondary education or technical equivalent experience

- Fluent in Microsoft Office, including Visio, Microsoft Project.
