Activities and Responsibilities:
· Lead the execution of work fronts with expertise, identifying improvement initiatives and actively engaging with the client in all phases of the project.
· Lead meetings and presentations with both client and A&M's managerial and executive levels, demonstrating confidence and mastery of the topics discussed.
· Assume a leadership role with teams and clients, participating in effective negotiations and collaborations between leaders.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
· Develop and manage strategic partnerships for business growth.
· Participate in events and associations to foster relationships and identify opportunities.
· Work with a creative mindset to co-create solutions and offer innovative approaches to address client challenges.
· Take advantage of industry network and influence to identify and develop new business opportunities for I&CP and other Business Units.
· Facilitate analyses to guide project delivery, proposing action plans and demonstrating confidence in decision-making.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related major
· +10 years of proven experience in business development and/or infrastructure project management.
· The ideal candidate will have prior experience in consulting firms, with strong business acumen, a self-started, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Availability for travel.
· Experience in management consulting for infrastructure and capital projects industries such as Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Water, Transportation, etc.

The role of a Civil Technologist is to work as a team member on roadways, bridge and culvert/hydraulic projects under the guidance of an Engineer. The Civil Technologist will utilize their knowledge and experience to contribute to a variety of projects ranging from conceptual design through to construction services.
A Civil Technologist will perform a variety of tasks which may include assisting with the plans, designs and construction administration/support of structures and facilities such as bridges, railroads, roads, airports, other projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
+ Completion of various design and drafting tasks for transportation projects.
+ Preparation of contract drawings and support with the development of tender specifications.
+ Assist in the preparation of reports, studies, evaluations and cost estimates.
+ Assist with or performing periodic field reviews and site visits when required.
+ Provide topographic layouts, cross-sectional surveys, and calculate quantities including earthworks (excavation, backfill, stockpiles), water volumes and surface areas, construction layouts, drainage surveys, and road surveys.

+ Completing in-place density testing via the use of a nuclear densometer.
+ Review shop drawings and other support documents for construction.
Your Capabilities and Credentials

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**

This position is located in our Victoria office. **Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D is essential.** Experience with ArcGIS and other AutoDesk and Bentley products (eg: ProjectWise) will be considered an asset.
Requirements:
+ **Be able to use Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu.**
+ **Utilizes AutoCAD Civil 3D to perform various design work.**
+ Interprets and ensures conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
+ Understands and utilizes more advanced software to complete assignments.

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is searching for a Junior **Civil Engineering** to be based in our **Burnaby, BC office** . While this is an entry level position, the ideal successful candidate will have a general understanding of civil design, construction, and some experience in civil engineering from COOP terms. They will be expected to work successfully within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members and clients. They will have a high level of initiative, motivation, and display drive, energy, and enthusiasm for getting things done! The successful candidate will be expected to support in the delivery of linear conveyance infrastructure to customers mostly within the municipal storm water, water and wastewater sector.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater /drainage conveyance facilities
+ Writing of technical memorandums and reports
+ Performing construction inspections
+ Preparing documentation for design projects and reports
+ Assisting with the preparation of construction cost estimates
+ Assisting with the preparation of project specifications and contract documents
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar major, or have demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
**Preferred Qualifications :**
+ Eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC
+ Experience in civil engineering, hydraulic modelling, planning, and design construction inspection
+ Working knowledge of contract documentation including MMCD and CCDC
+ Working knowledge of water / wastewater / drainage conveyance infrastructure in a Municipal environment
+ Working knowledge of blue and green infrastructure: ponds, wetlands, bioswales, raingardens, etc.
+ Excellent written skills needed for technical reports
+ Proficient with MS Office Suite
+ Valid BC Class V Driver's License
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients
+ Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $60,000.00 - $0,000.00.

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Civil Engineering Intern** to be based in our **Calgary, AB** office.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ A willingness to be versatile and a team player in contributing towards a variety of water resources projects.
+ Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
+ Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
+ Developing solutions and assessments using hydraulic modelling techniques.
+ Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
+ Prepare engineering-related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
+ Develop solutions for routine technical problems with limited scope.
+ Provision of contract administration services.
+ Work under the supervision of a project engineer or senior-level team member.
+ Technical report writing.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering or related field and must have completed at least 3 years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the master's degree are eligible to apply for this position. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their Bachelor's Degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Demonstration of high-quality English report writing skills.
+ Proficient in using spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
+ Basic knowledge of industry-standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as Hec Ras, SWMM, GIS, CADD and other Hydrologic/Hydraulic models).
+ Experience with project management concepts and principles.

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Manager of our Municipal Engineering Division, the successful Civil Engineering Technologist will be involved in municipal and land development projects and will possess a strong background designing municipal infrastructure through a motivated and dynamic team of professionals located in our Abbotsford Office. Successful applicants will participate in the provision of engineering services from the proposal stage through planning, design, construction, and commissioning of projects.
Major Job Functions:
Preparing engineering drawings for municipal and land development projects
Coordinating project drawings and reports
Surveying (total station and GPS)
Site and construction inspections
Project management and contract administration
Specific Skills and Knowledge:
Flexibility, organizational and time management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business.
