RATE OF PAY: $18.47 - $20.46 per hour

DUTIES:
Reporting to a Supervisor of Community Programming or the Assistant Manager WIATC/Adventure Bay or designate(s) where applicable, Recreation Program Instructors will teach and supervise programs while ensuring a safe, clean environment. Will provide program planning, program implementation and conduct evaluations. The incumbent will maintain excellent customer service and public relations at all times. The incumbent will maintain statistical data as required; Recreation Program Instructors may be assigned to more than one work location and may be moved as required; Will perform Occupational Health & Safety duties as outlined in the Corporation’s Health and Safety Program. Will perform other related duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a minimum of 15 years of age at time of employment;
- Must have completed an Ontario Secondary School Grade 10 education or be able to obtain Grade 10 within 1 year of hire date or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency;
- Must have over three (3) months experience working in the sports/recreation field;
- Requires as a condition of employment current valid Standard First Aid and CPR Basic Rescuer (Level C) certificate obtained from a first aide WSIA Reg. 1101 training provider recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) for the full period of employment;
- May require as a condition of employment High 5 Principles of Healthy Child Development certification;
- Experience in teaching Karate, Gymnastics, Pickleball, Fitness, Yoga, Zumba, Spin, Piano and Guitar instruction considered a definite asset. Current and valid certifications may be required;
- Experience in a Day Camp environment considered a definite asset;
- Bilingualism (French and English) considered an asset;

We are hiring TALENTED, ENERGETIC, ENGAGING CHILDREN'S SWIM INSTRUCTORS FOR BURLINGTON, ON (Please no summer job applicants)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum while having fun!
- Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Makes rescues and administers first aid when necessary.
- Evaluates students performance to ensure ongoing improvement
- Interacts with parents/guardians on the development of students swim skills. Acts as an ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.
- Uses problem-solving/creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter.
- Inspects pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues. Reports issues to management as appropriate.
- Maintains and ensures proper storage of all pool equipment. Places and removes lane lines.
- Reports accidents and incidents to management. Completes required documentation and paperwork
- Occasionally performs light cleaning duties such as tidying pool area, trash removal etc.
- Participates in training as required.
We require a commitment to work a minimum of (2) shifts per week
Pre-requisite Education/Experience:
Must be 15 Years old on application
Current Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross or NL
Current Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED
Previous experience delivering high-quality swimming lessons preferred

The Flight Test Engineer Instructors will be responsible for participating in flight test and instructional duties. Reporting to the Chief Flight Test Engineer Instructor, the FTEIs will be key members of our instructional staff. These positions are client facing and require preparation, enthusiasm, and a desire to mentor and support the next generation of Flight Test Professionals.
Duties:
- Participating in ground and flight tests of aircraft;
- Developing and conducting computer simulations of aerospace vehicles, systems and components using advanced mathematical modelling;
- Developing operational specifications and manuals;
- Contributing to and taking ownership for the assigned portion of the ITPS program;
- Delivering the academic courses using appropriate instructional techniques and equipment;
- Mentoring and using remedial teaching skills, where necessary to strengthen students academic abilities;
- Supervising, monitoring and marking of student progress tests as appropriate to the FTEIs subject field;
- Practicing and maintaining the highest academic standards;
- Monitoring the progress of individual students and briefing this on a regular basis to the Chief Theoretical knowledge instructor and Head of Training;
- Reporting any concerns about student progress to the Chief Theoretical knowledge instructor and the Head of Training as soon as possible;
- Attending Academic meetings;
- Research paper development and delivery;
- Providing Mentorship to Junior Engineers;
- Participate in personnel training and assessment;
- Travel may be required for programs and industry involvement from time to time; and
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or in a related engineering discipline, such as mechanical engineering or engineering physics, is required.
- A master's degree or doctorate in a related engineering discipline may be required.
- Graduate of a graduate flight test engineer course from a recognized institution
- 5+ years of Flight Test Program experience
