**Position Summary:**
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of supply, purchasing policies, and supplier management for multiple sites. In addition, this position is responsible for keeping the organization's raw materials, products, systems and documentation synchronized. The Supply Chain Manager will lead strategic initiatives to improve supplier service levels and strengthen the supply base and support long term business growth. Additionally, this position plays a vital role maintaining utilization and development of and ERP systems. This position must have great flexibility with the ability to support/lead multiple efforts including critical path timeline related to projects as assigned. Responsible to develop and drive departmental metrics to support business strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Participates in the development and implementation as well as the monitoring of all department policies, procedures, technical guidelines, and quality assurance standards. Ensures quality performance, customer satisfaction and adherence to the requirements of regulatory agencies.
+ Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve performance in overall total supply costs, service level and quality.
+ Develop sourcing strategies for new and existing products. Prepare requests for quotation, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate supply agreements as appropriate.
+ Develop and lead a robust supplier management program to monitor supplier performance in the areas of quality, service, and total cost.
+ Proactively manage the supply base to reduce risks and ensure continued supply of components to meet requirements.

+ Executes NCMR's for all non-conforming material driven by ECO's, Expiry Reports, and MRB, to include physical movement and related transactions.
+ Provide guidance and advice on methods, procedures, standardization, and requirements for systems that impact inventory flow and transactions.
+ Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook, SOPs, as well as follows guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the safety program and in accordance with the job function.
+ Maintain a safe and functional working area ensuring proper safety procedures are adhered to by all personnel working in the warehouse area.
+ Other duties as required by Management.
**Education and Experience:**
+ 5-7 years of Procurement/Purchasing experience, bio-technology experience is preferred.
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, or related field.
+ 1-3 years of people leadership experience.
+ Strong negotiation skills.
+ Expert knowledge of market including supplier base, general industry information and cost drivers.
+ Strong knowledge of good purchasing practices, supply chain management and contract law as it applies to the procurement process.

From strategic planning to day-to-day operations, youll lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and ensure seamless coordination across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Source materials, components, or products.
- Select, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships and performance metrics.
- Lead procurement activities for all product lines with focus on imported goods.
- Logistics & Import Coordination
- Coordinate inbound shipments from Asia including booking, documentation and custom clearances.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Oversee freight, customs brokers/clearance, and delivery performance.
- Track shipments and communicate delays or issues with internal stakeholders.
- Inventory & Warehousing
- Manage stock levels across warehouses and production facilities.
- Implement just-in-time (JIT) and safety stock policies.
- Coordinate with warehousing teams to optimize space and efficiency.
- Production Planning
- Forecast demand in collaboration with Sales and Operations.
- Schedule manufacturing activities and material requirements.
- Balance capacity and supply to meet customer demand.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Finance to create accurate demand forecasts and supply plans.
- Develop demand plans to inform procurement and production.
- Operational & Tactical Tasks
- Monitor KPIs (inventory turnover, logistics cost, overstock, stock-outs, supplier lead time)
- Manage ERP system (MS Business Central) for supply chain visibility.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings with Finance, and Operations teams.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives across supply chain and sourcing functions.
- Lead risk management initiatives (i.e. assessing supply disruptions and contingency planning)
- Strategic & Analytical Duties
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with corporate goals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvement or vendor optimization.
- Lead risk management initiativese.g., assessing supply disruptions and contingency planning.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (import/export laws)
- Collaboration and Communication
- Liaise with internal teams (Engineering, Quality, Customer service, Finance, Sales, Production).
- Manage customer service levels through proactive logistics and inventory planning.
- Report to senior management with dashboards and performance summaries.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS undergraduate degree in Materials Management, Business (with emphasis in Supply Chain Management), Operations Management, or other technical discipline
- 10+ years of production procurement and/or strategic sourcing experience in large, best-in-class logistics or materials management, and/or manufacturing operations; including at least 5 years of experience leading and/or managing geographically distributed teams ideally within the consumer products industry
- Exceptional service-oriented communication and team skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, experience managing teams and projects
- Critical thinking skills: must be able to come up with timely and innovative ideas to contribute to the companys success and growth
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work under pressure and still maintain ideal disposition towards work
