Inventory Analyst
Reporting to the Operations and Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing warehouse inventory movement records, including transfers, cycle counts, PO receipts, returns and damages to investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies. The Inventory Analyst will effectively monitor and minimize inventory adjustments using new S2K software (ERP System). Frequent interaction with Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Customer Service and Regulatory departments will be necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Investigate inventory discrepancies to determine root cause and propose corrective action / preventative action.
- Coordinate with other workers to resolve discrepancies in inventory levels, lot and expiry dates, units of measure, and FEFO/FIFO stock movements.
- Assist operations in the identification of trends and data inconsistencies.
- Understand reporting requirements based on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles.
- Document GMP variances in a formal deviation report as required, as well as provide CAPA assistance to explain recurring or significant variances.
- Correct inventory in S2K (ERP System) once discrepancies are identified and investigated and apply proper reason for the adjustment on a case-by-case basis.
- Review items Removed from Pick as an indicator of inventory discrepancies or potential backorder situations.
- Own the entire life cycle of damaged, misplaced or missing products from the time the exceptions are detected to the resolution of the issue.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels by performing regular inventory counts.
- Verify against inventory audit trails in the system.
- Remove expired product from inventory at the direction from Purchasing.
- Work closely with Regulatory and Purchasing on product recalls, including taking product off shelves and quarantining.
- Ensure all bins potentially holding affected item have been checked on a lot/expiry basis.
- Define inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, adjustments, reasons for the adjustments, and other statistical data.
- Work with Purchasing department on reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.
- Perform research on a wide range of inventory related reports.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reviews and analyzes inventory for an organization that holds a Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) and Drug Establishment License (DEL). Duties include keeping track of goods and supplies in the warehouse, ensuring inventory is accounted for and managed, finding process optimizations and efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Warehouse Organization- Organizing warehouse stock and maintaining general warehouse order and cleanliness.
- Performing ongoing stock rotation to preserve the first-in, first-out process.
- Conducting regular cycle counts and updating inventory software to reflect actual on-hand values, investigating discrepancies as necessary.
- Monitoring inventory for expiring and expired products, ensuring such products are marked and removed from stock in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Returning any damaged or expired products for credit to wholesalers or manufacturers within an acceptable timeframe and verifying credit is received.

- Reconciling and approving purchasing invoices, updating product details and pricing in inventory software (e.g., Zoho) to reflect changes on an ongoing basis.
- Completing frequent counts of high-cost inventory and immediately investigating discrepancies.
- Working within an ISO 5 environment to repackage products, as required.
- Ensuring all inventory items, including medical devices, are stored and handled in compliance with Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) and Drug Establishment License (DEL) regulations.
- Preparing and priming Credo Cubes for cold chain deliveries, ensuring that temperature-sensitive medical devices are stored and transported within required temperature ranges.
- Repackaging products into different pack sizes as needed.
- Transporting material within the warehouse to other departments, loading docks, and/or delivery vehicles using hand trucks and carts while observing all safety procedures.
- Coordinating disposal of medical waste by ensuring proper handling and packaging of used sharps containers and medical waste bins while adhering to all safety requirements and arranging for timely pick-up.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple demands.

About the Position:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for efficiently managing inventory across our distribution network. The position involves analyzing inventory data, monitoring stock levels, and developing strategies to optimize inventory control. The Inventory Analyst understands the role as brand ambassador and provides positive brand experiences to all clients, partners, distributors, and stakeholders. As a SOLV4EX team member, a typical week will include the following:
- Analyze inventory data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory management improvements.
- Assist in forecasting demand by analyzing historical inventory and sales data, generating reports, and identifying trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory turnover and reduce excess inventory across the network. Implement strategies to balance stock levels and improve overall inventory performance while maintaining high service levels.
- Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, focusing on order accuracy and necessity, on-time delivery, and minimizing order delays.
- Monitor inventory levels at all locations, analyze consumption patterns, and initiate replenishment activities to maintain optimum stock levels.

About the Role:
Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Associate to support a transition period on their team. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of long-term opportunities based on performance and evolving business needs.
As the Inventory Control Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth management of all inventory levels and supporting the production team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll provide informal training and mentorship to an internal hire during this transition.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as a liaison between the Client Supply Chain and Production Teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Maintain and update accurate inventory records in systems such as SAP, Nulogy, and Excel.
- Perform physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and light lifting to move products around on pallets.
- Verify the receipt of incoming products and materials.
- Conduct reconciliations for completed projects and ensure accuracy of inventory documentation.
- Monitor production line utilization, supporting 4–6 production lines (7–9 workers per line).
- Allocate inventory to production lines 24 hours in advance and ensure put-away of inventory within 24 hours of receipt.
- Reconcile discrepancies within 48 hours post-production.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain detailed logs.
- Provide support and informal training to an internal team member transitioning into the role.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with safety guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control or a similar supply chain role.
Strong understanding of inventory best practices, including cycle counts and reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP and Nulogy is an asset.
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Comfortable with physical demands, including standing, walking, and light lifting.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with frequent last-minute changes and tight schedules.
