A growing automation solutions provider based in Ontario, providing reliable automation systems to clients across the manufacturing, food & beverage, automotive, and advanced manufacturing sectors is looking to add to their Project Team. The current team combines engineering expertise with hands-on implementation to help clients improve efficiency, productivity, and safety. They are looking to expand and add an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead projects from concept through commissioning.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing automation projects of varying scope and complexity, from initial client engagement through to design, integration, testing, and delivery. This role requires both technical knowledge of automation systems and strong project management skills. You will work closely with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes—on time, on budget, and to specification.
Project Management
Plan, organize, and manage automation projects from proposal stage through to delivery and commissioning.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and client approvals.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Facilitate project kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and closeout sessions.
Technical Oversight
Work with engineering teams (controls, electrical, mechanical, software) to ensure designs meet project requirements.
Provide input on system architecture, automation hardware, and control strategies.
Review technical documentation such as P&IDs, electrical schematics, and functional design specifications.
Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and provide guidance to ensure quality deliverables.
Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Financial Management
Track project costs, margins, and profitability.
Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
~5+ years of experience in project management within industrial automation, robotics, or systems integration.
~ PMP certification is an asset.
~ Hands-on technical experience with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control, or related automation technologies is a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of industrial automation equipment, controls, and integration processes.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will help shape and evolve our infrastructure footprint, supporting cloud and on-prem environments, driving modernization efforts, and ensuring high availability across our network, data centers, and systems landscape. Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure & Operations, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on owning complex environments and working across teams to deliver operational excellence.

Key Area of Responsibilities
Infracture, Architecture & Operations
- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise systems—on-prem and cloud.
- Serve as a technical SME across a hybrid infrastructure stack (Cisco, VMware,Microsoft, EMC).
- Manage LAN/WAN, firewalls, MPLS, VPN, and multi-site voice/data systems.
- Maintain performance, uptime, and recovery planning in a high-availability environment.
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Drive large-scale infrastructure projects from strategy through execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy secure, scalable technology
solutions. - Translate complex requirements into sustainable architecture plans.
Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting
- Serve as a senior escalation point for technical issues and critical outages.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and security gaps.
- Proactively monitor systems to preempt failures and minimize downtime.
- Strategic Advisory and collaboration
- Advise IT Leadership on infrastructure modernization, cloud readiness, and optimization opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance to application development, eCommerce, and ERP teams.
- Develop best practices, playbooks, and architecture standards for the enterprise.
Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer
- Coach junior engineers and support staff, transferring deep infrastructure knowledge.
- Lead onboarding and development activities for new team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.
Security, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with PCI, SOX, and internal security standards.
- Implement and maintain controls that support audit readiness and threat mitigation.
- Partner with the cybersecurity team on proactive infrastructure hardening initiatives.
What You Bring
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years supporting large-scale infrastructure for multi-site enterprises.
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP preferred; ITIL 4 certification is an asset.
Technical Strengths
- Expert in Cisco enterprise networking (Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, VPN, Wireless, VoIP).
- Strong experience with VMware, Windows Server, EMC storage, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms is an asset.
- Hands-on experience with network and security technologies (F5, Checkpoint, SSO,
- MFA).
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (EIGRP, BGP, VLAN, QOS, NAT, TCP/IP)
- Skilled in scripting (PowerShell, VBS), infrastructure documentation, and automation tools.
