Reporting to a Regional Operations Manager, the Manager, Regional Projects, supports the Regional Operations Manager and/or Regional Service Line Leaders in advancing initiatives and progress toward regional goals to develop a greater understanding of regional business. The incumbent supports specific regional priorities and business management activities, including programs, initiatives and objectives, conducts independent research, and takes action on decisions as assigned. The incumbent may also carry out reporting and make recommendations for decision-making to the Regional Operations Manager and/or Regional Service Line Leaders.

**KEY AND PERIODIC ACTIVITIES**
**The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative but not all-inclusive:**
**Primary**

- Lead program development and communicate program outcomes across the region
- Support regional implementation of corporate initiatives such as Diversity and Inclusion, innoviCulture and Workplace Wellness and Mental Health
- Generate, interpret and communicate service level agreements
- Coordinate and conduct verification (e.g. of business management, Laserfiche files), and help DCC sites develop corrective actions
- Track and manage business KPIs, BPIs, targets and activities as set out in the Operations and Regional Business Plans.
- Develop and communicate complex program information to the regional management team (e.g. Client-Partner expectations, methods of delivery, project risks, actions DCC sites must take to achieve program goals)
- Lead and support training opportunities such as regional leadership development (LDP) and supervisor training
- Provide advice and recommendations to the regional management team on work assigned
- Develop and maintain effective relationships within DCC, and with industry, the Client-Partners and/or stakeholders
- Ensure quality standards are met, in line with corporate expectations
- Manage risk

**Other**

- Provide support to regional employees on various aspects of DCC business and initiatives
- Monitor trends and developments in corporate policy
- Other duties as assigned

**SKILLS**
**General and Specific Knowledge**

- Best practices, methods and trends in DCC business, service lines and operations

**Formal Education and/or Certification(s) and Experience**

- **Minimum:** university degree in engineering, data sciences, computer science, business, mathematics, economics, statistics, management, accounting or related field with a minimum of six years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent

The Winnipeg Football Club is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Capital Projects Manager to support the planning and execution of capital projects at Princess Auto Stadium. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, managing contractor schedules, procurement, and assisting with budget tracking and documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, trades, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Assist in the development and execution of capital project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Support the Director of Stadium Operations with daily oversight of active construction and maintenance projects.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Prepare and issue RFPs/RFQs for capital projects and services.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotes from contractors and suppliers.
  • Track purchase orders, contracts, and change orders.

Site Oversight & Communication

  • Conduct regular site walks to monitor project progress and safety compliance.
  • Act as liaison between internal staff and external consultants, engineers, and trades.
  • Attend project meetings and record minutes, action items, and deliverables.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain organized project documentation including schedules, drawings, permits, and correspondence.
  • Assist with preparing capital project reports and updates for senior leadership.
  • Track expenditures and help monitor adherence to approved budgets.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Support submission and follow-up on permits, inspections, and close-out documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a project coordination role, preferably in construction or facilities management.
  • Experience working with consultants, trades, and contractors.
  • Knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Working directly with the Sprinkler Divisions Operations Manager and Project Manager you will support the day-to-day operations of the Sprinkler Division by completing a variety of administrative tasks. The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to progress their career into Project Management.

Objectives & Responsibilities of the Coordinator, Sprinkler Projects:

  • Track status and log Project Deliverables for consultant approval. Ensuring that all required information is included and directing any compliance issues to the appropriate parties.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes as required.
  • Assist with project scheduling and logistics as required.
  • Gather Site Instructions, Variation Requests, Change Directives and Field Changes and forward to the Project Manager.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and maintenance of Change Order Logs, Risks/Issues Logs, Project Construction Schedules, Cost & Resource Loaded Schedules, and Vendor Progress Claims.
  • Assist Site Superintendent with onsite activities with respect to Security, Safety, Site Access, and Site inspection.

  • Provide additional Operations Support, as required.
  • Additional coordination and administrative duties as they may arise.

Heres What Youll be Responsible for:
Plan, schedule, organize, direct, and control construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
Supervision and direction of day-to-day field activities and managing the construction site.
Be responsible for on site safety programs.

Ensure site office is equipped with proper first aid and eye wash station.
Set-up site and maintain it to promote clean, tidy, and a professional image of the company.
Mobilize the site, hoarding/ fencing, set-up trailers, washrooms, safety facilities, telephone, hydro, water, and stake out underground services.
Maintain site security at all times.
Arrange to lay out the building and site.
Ensure construction satisfies all permit requirements.
Advise the project team of any site conditions not previously identified.
Arrange Municipal Inspectors for required inspections.
Help prepare and maintain the project schedule.
Review and coordinate delivery dates of critical materials.
After the awarding of each subtrade, contact the site representative to plan and schedule the work.

Review and be knowledgeable with all contract documents.
Organize pre-construction meetings with each trade to ensure they have all contract
documents and are familiar with all the requirements.
Direct foreman and tradesman in daily site activities.
Ensure all trades complete their scope of work to an acceptable standard.
Manage the Union issues on site and resolve disputers with subtrades.
Conduct safety and coordination meetings, and prepare and distribute the meeting minutes.
Manage and maintain project costs within budget.
Prepare and submit job reports.
Prepare and file written records of all verbal communication and site occurrences.
Prepare accident reports and submit them to head office immediately upon occurrence.
Issue a periodic Performance Review to head office regarding the subcontractors and suppliers.
Be knowledgeable of all equipment and materials.
Establish quantities, order materials, and reconcile with estimates.
Completion of reports for concrete ordering and pouring.
Manage and implement Change Orders.
Initial review and provide feedback on shop drawings.
Provide feedback on site issues to improve efficiency on future projects.
Arrange for inspections and testing of various building elements.
Manage site filing.
Issuing fieldwork orders for work carried out for subtrades.
Manage the clean up of the site and ensure that costs are allocated to the responsible parties, staying within our budget.
Responsible for site and community public relations.

Responsible for all temporary protection during the construction process, satisfying occupancy requirements, correction of all deficiencies, and updating all as built-drawingon site on a regular basis.
Cooperate with other sites to share resources to benefit the companys interest.
