Key Responsibilities:

As an IT Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Security Standards & Protocols:

  • Monitor and analyze security data, generating detailed reports, advisories, and actionable insights.

  • Implement IT Security solutions, preparing technical reports and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

• Intrusion Detection & Prevention:

  • Deploy and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), firewalls, and other security technologies to defend against malicious code and unauthorized access.

  • Conduct regular security audits and provide independent verification and validation (IV&V) support for security-related projects.

• Security Protocol Testing & Training:

  • Design, develop, and execute IT Security protocol tests, security exercises, and simulations.

  • Prepare and deliver training materials to internal teams on security protocols and best practices.

• Contingency Planning & Documentation:

  • Review and assess Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), and contingency plans for IT Security compliance.

  • Prepare detailed documentation, including audit reports, security assessments, and contingency plans.

• Project Oversight:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for IT Security-related projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation.

  • Guide the team on security matters, providing expertise on evolving threats and best practices.

Experience Levels:

• Level 1: 3-5 years of experience in IT Security.

• Level 2: 5-10 years of experience in IT Security.

• Level 3: 10+ years of experience in IT Security.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Security Engineering.

  • Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.

  • Proficiency with security protocols and standards, including SSL, Telnet, SSH, X.400, X.500, and S-MIME.

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model.

  • Deep understanding of Domain Name System (DNS) and Network Time Protocol (NTP).

  • Expertise in cryptographic algorithms and security techniques.

• Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and X.509 Certificate Protocols.

As a S. Network Security Engineer, you will be reporting to the Network Security Manager to implement and support a wide variety of network and security technologies, combining deep knowledge of technology infrastructure to support a seamless experience for internal and external customers. This will include participating in the design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting of Network Security technologies such as NGFW, IPS/IDS, NAC, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud networking technologies within Information Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting cloud network and security infrastructure solutions, including hybrid cloud connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, IPSEC VPN, etc.
• Responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco Firepower and Juniper firewalls.
• Responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting IP Networking. Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Segment Routing, QoS, IP VPN, VPLS, EVPN, VxLAN, NAT, etc.
• Responsible for troubleshooting, isolate and correct service-affecting issues on the network in areas including but not limited to: routing protocols, routers, switches, firewall administration, MPLS, BGP, VPN, load balancing.
• Responsible for building, interconnecting, and supporting networks with one of the cloud providers - Regions and Availability Zones. Including working knowledge and hands-on experience of VPC connectivity, Transit Gateway, Direct link/connect methodologies.
• Conduct research, analyze, recommend, implement, troubleshoot for SDWAN infrastructure (implementation and troubleshooting) (Fortinet and Zscaler products)
• Perform the execution of day-to-day networking operations to guarantee network availability, stability, and serviceability with the least amount of downtime possible.
• Design, maintain the network infrastructure services, including the installation, architecture, design, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network and security software and hardware in a mixed vendor environment.
• Review assigned service requests daily, follow up and provide status updates to clients; effectively maintain service delivery status and backlog.
• Lead the technical delivery of projects, including design, configuration, and testing of technical solutions for enterprise-wide projects.
• Work with vendors, customers, partners, providers, and peer technical staff on implementation, optimization, and security of Network and Security system. This includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting infrastructure and services including routers, switches, access points, load balancers in both an on -premises environment and an Cloud environment, layer 7 firewalls, remote access solutions and site connectivity
• Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems, and processes to increase efficiency, lower total cost of ownership, and improve performance.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to client environments.
• Provide incident management and support to the critical issues escalated by Network Security Services Operations, including internal and external communications, team coordination of repair and then root cause analysis efforts.
• Create and review the documentation of the current Network Architecture and develop Network solutions to enhance existing services.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance and upgrades to client environments.
• Perform technical assessments using industry standard toolsets for network, server, and security architectures.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

**Responsabilités**
+ Collaborer avec les parties prenantes et votre équipe pour élaborer des feuilles de route en matière de capacités, identifier et fournir les résultats clés pour atteindre les étapes importantes de la feuille de route
+ Identifier et diriger de nouveaux projets qui facilitent l'intégration des utilisateurs finaux et améliorent leur expérience de manière sécurisée
+ Évaluer, concevoir et mettre en œuvre des solutions durables, des processus opérationnels et des configurations d'appareils pour faire face aux principaux risques liés à la gestion des appareils
+ Analyser les processus, la documentation et les flux de travail afin d'élaborer une analyse des lacunes et d'identifier et hiérarchiser les améliorations à apporter aux processus
+ Analyser les capacités de gestion des appareils, les manuels d'utilisation et la documentation afin de mettre en œuvre des améliorations durables
+ Conseiller sur les initiatives de sécurité liées à une combinaison d'applications de bureau et d'entreprise, y compris les services cloud
**Qualifications minimales**
+ Plus de 10 ans d'expérience dans la gestion de la sécurité des appareils et les services de protection des terminaux
+ Solide expérience en sécurité, en particulier dans les domaines de la sécurité informatique, de la sécurité d'entreprise et de la sécurité cloud
+ Expérience dans la conception, la mise en œuvre et la maintenance de solutions EDR/XDR/EPP/AV, en particulier CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne et Microsoft Defender
+ Expérience dans la conception et la mise en œuvre de modèles Zero Trust
+ Expérience dans la création de politiques conformes aux modèles de maturité ZTA de la CISA
+ Capacité à programmer/écrire des scripts pour l'automatisation dans au moins un langage : Python, GO, JavaScript, Bash ou PowerShell
+ Expérience des technologies de cloud computing, en particulier AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure ou GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
+ Expérience des normes NIST, CIS et STIG
+ Expérience des cadres réglementaires tels que C5, Cyber Essentials, PCI, SOC2 et ISO
+ Hautement technique avec des capacités tactiques et stratégiques, notamment en matière de sécurité des appareils, des réseaux et des plateformes
+ Décideur capable d'opérer en toute liberté et autonomie
+ Accent mis sur une approche décisionnelle fondée sur les données
+ Solides compétences en communication écrite et orale

**Salary transparency**
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $118,400 and $162,800. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
