General
- Implement, maintain, and improve the security posture of the Microsoft 365.
- Maintain operational oversight of our security systems and administer secure configurations for both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Proactively manage system settings to counter evolving threats and safeguard enterprise systems and accounts.
- Actively monitor and assess new and emerging security threats. Recommend tactical and strategic initiatives that mitigate risks and keep our security posture ahead of the curve.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments to evaluate attack vectors, identify vulnerabilities, and develop remediation plans.
- Work with IT stakeholders to guide and assist them during the remediation process.
- Monitor external security ratings and coordinate improvement efforts.
- Identify and address high-risk areas to strengthen overall security posture.
- Lead monthly vulnerability management meetings, assessments, and remediation coordination.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to track progress and highlight key risk areas.
Security Operations and Incident Management Program
- Assist the SOC team with daily operation of Information Security technologies.
- Assist with creating detailed runbooks and playbooks for incident response that integrate engineered solutions with operational procedures, ensuring quick and consistent responses to security events.
- Offer expert insights during and after incidents to identify root causes, recommend immediate fixes, and suggest long-term security improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with the security operations team to ensure that engineered systems meet operational needs, participate in incident drills, and provide training on new tools or technologies that enhance incident response capabilities.
- Handle spam/phishing requests, Mimecast URL exceptions, and data loss alerts.
- Act as an active participant within Incident Tabletop exercises

- 6+ years of experience in an Information Security related role with at least 3 years of experience in cloud technologies, vulnerability and penetration testing.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure security features, architecture, and best practices for securing cloud deployments.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled security engineer to join our growing team at FISPAN, responsible for maintaining and improving our security technical controls. Key Responsibilities

About the Role
The Information Security Engineer II is a professional member of the CISO Identity & Access Management tam providing expertise and guidance related to IAM within the organization. The role involves supporting internal access and compliance audits, identity governance, implementing access controls while ensuring they comply with applicable security policies.
Responsibilities
+ Administer user accounts and access privileges to the organizations identity and access management systems.
+ Work closely with the IAM team to ensure the right people have access to the right resources.
+ Support day-to-day operations, end users and trouble shoot access issues.
+ Facilitate User Access Revies across various applications and platforms.
+ Participate in IAM projects and initiatives
+ Monitoring user activity system activity and reconciling application, active directory, and access management systems.
+ Participate in compliance audits and supporting IAM audits and reporting.
+ Identify risks and recommending solutions to ensure compliance with IAM standards.
+ Work with IAM team to resolve identity and access management best practices.
+ Documenting IAM processes and procedures.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree or better in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
+ Minimum of 2 to three years of experience in Information Technology.
+ Familiarity with identifying security risks in process or procedures.
+ Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices.
+ Familiarity with authentication and authorization methods and password management.
+ Knowledge of Information Security and /or Information Technology techniques and practices.
+ Experience with developing security recommendations, policies, and procedures that are meaningful, defensible and actionable for a variety of audiences.
+ Ability to work individually and as a part of a team.

**The Opportunity:**
As a IT Security Engineer, you will be part of the Information Systems Security global team that designs, delivers and supports the solutions and components used to provide Security Services globally within Roche. Our team consists of IT professionals distributed across the globe with expertise in Endpoint Protection, Network Security, Remote Access Management, Vulnerability and Compliance Scan, Security Log Management, etc. We provide technical support and technological consulting on security.
Information Systems Security Section designs, delivers, and supports the solutions and components used to provide Security Services in the corporate environment. This team offers technical support and technology consulting for security infrastructure components in both on-premise and cloud environments.
**Design:**
+ Design and develop cloud network infrastructure in AWS/GCP/Azure vendors using Palo Alto instances as central solution for traffic inspection.
+ Create detailed network diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans for new cloud network infrastructure.
+ Collaborate with network architects to integrate firewall solutions seamlessly into the existing network infrastructure.
**Implementation & Deployment:**
+ Advanced configuration and management of Palo Alto solution. Experience upgrading and migrating firewall solution in production environments
+ Knowledge of cloud vendors network infrastructures, being able to configure, program and deploy the designed solution.
**Operations & Maintenance:**
+ Troubleshoot complex network and security issues related to the designed solutions.
+ Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
**Who You Are:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
+ 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Next-Generation Firewalls with a strong networking background.
+ 2+ years of experience working with cloud networking solutions with different vendors (AWS/GCP/Azure).
+ 1+ years of experience developing code oriented to cloud (Terraform and Python).
+ Extensive hands-on experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, etc.) and a deep understanding of Fortinet's Security Fabric.
+ Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (PA-Series, VM-Series, Panorama, App-ID, User-ID, WildFire, Threat Prevention, Decryption, URL Filtering, GlobalProtect).
+ Solid understanding of Security concepts, trends and best practices with experience in validated environments.
+ Hands-on technical security skills, operational background, and experience with security technologies and underlying infrastructure.
Knowledge and/or experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
+ Certifications: Fortinet NSE 4, 5, 7, or 8 or Palo Alto Networks: PCNSA PCNSE
+ Cloud Certifications any vendor
+ Other relevant certifications: CCNP Security, CISSP
+ Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as AWS
+ Programming and Ops Skills: Python, Perl, Ruby, Powershell.
