# Project Overview:
Bechtel is performing Project Management and Technical Services leading up to a Final Investment Decision for 750km natural gas pipeline in British Columbia, Canada. The pipeline will traverse remote mountainous terrain, sensitive environments, and deep marine channels. The project includes compression, metering, and other facilities and communications systems.

Provides overall direction, coordination, and guidance for the security program on a complex project. # Major Responsibilities:
+ Leads the overall direction, coordination, and execution of the project security program for a large and complex linear project, including oversight of the security for camp accommodations and related infrastructure.
+ Manages the administration, operations, and policy implementation of a project-wide security program, ensuring compliance with host government regulations, contractual obligations, and customer security requirements.
+ Oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security strategies and programs to proactively address potential threats, respond to security incidents, and mitigate risks to personnel, assets, operations, and reputation.
+ Directs the development and execution of site-specific security plans, procedures, and emergency preparedness initiatives, ensuring alignment with project needs and regional threat environment.
+ Provides functional leadership, mentorship, and operational support to the project's security team (internal and external), including contract security guard force personnel, to ensure consistent and effective service delivery across all project areas.
+ Maintains regular communication with project managers and functional leaders to ensure that security considerations are integrated into project planning, proposals, and execution in compliance with customer requirements and legal mandates.
+ Monitors the effectiveness of security operations, including performance of subcontractor security leads and adherence to scope, quality, and contractual obligations.
+ Develops plans and organizes, and directs the activities of security managers and leads, ensuring alignment with local laws,, regulatory requirements, and the expectations of the project customer, and functional security leadership.
+ Implements tailored security awareness and training programs, both project wide and group specific, that reinforce a strong security culture, promote procedural compliance and support community and cultural awareness.
+ Represents project management on all security-related matters, including participation in project status meetings, customer engagements, coordination with government entities, and collaboration with peer security professionals.
+ Manages investigations related to lost, missing, or stolen property and assets, allegations of criminal misconduct, violations of project work rules, and any other security incidents reported with the project scope.
+ Develops and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for both internal security personnel and security leads and service providers, ensuring audits and inspections are conducted routinely, findings are documented, and the results are reviewed for continuous improvement.
+ Evaluates the effectiveness of jobsite security programs, performs trend analyses, and conducts in-depth investigations to support continuous improvements and risk mitigations and enhance security posture.
+ Develops and maintains effective working relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and industry security counterparts to enable continuous threat monitoring and intelligence sharing, and to support the development of timely threat assessments, mitigation strategies, emergency response actions, contingency planning, and personnel travel and evacuation protocols
+ Identifies, develops, and delivers specialized training for security lead personnel and their teams to ensure skillsets meet evolving project and operational requirements.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a recognized degree with 15+ of professional experience or in lieu of a degree 17+ Years of experience in relevant field.
# Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Formal and specialized training in industrial security, criminal justice, industrial relations, personnel and resource management, and associated disciplines or a bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred or international equivalent).
+ Significant experience in law enforcement, military, intelligence, or public, private or government security organization. (preferably with 13+ years of experience or 17+ years of relevant work experience)
+ Extensive knowledge of current physical security principles, procedures, and equipment & technology applicable to protection of construction activities, offices, and senior executives in national and international environments.

Your role:
The Cyber Security Manager leads our frontline defence against cyber threats and is responsible for managing technical security teams including the Cyber Security Operations Center and Cyber Engineering within the respective region. Your responsibilities:
- Work closely with company leadership in the implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise class security software.
- Work closely with the operations teams on the implementation and support of security systems and hardening of Global Relay infrastructure.
- Work closely with the Architects and Development teams on the design and deployment of specialized security components that are integrated to Global Relay's customer-facing products.

Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia's pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.

The goal of the program is to develop candidates with the necessary experience and tools to become effective leaders within Risk Management.

+ **Market Risk**
+ In Market Risk We can accurately identify current and emerging risks in the market, offering transparency to both trading and non-trading risk results. Our dynamic and global business independently oversees counterparty credit, liquidity risk, and the market enterprise wide. We work diligently to ensure that all results align with the Bank's risk appetite, leveraging business insights and market expertise to get the job done.
+ **Enterprise Market Risk Control**
+ As a second line of defense, we provide independent oversight and challenge of the Bank's trading, non- trading, and liquidity risks. EMRC ensures all significant market and liquidity risks are appropriately governed, understood, analyzed, and measured. We support new business initiatives by working closely with TD.
+ Securities and Treasury and Balance Sheet Management and ensuring TD remains within risk appetite.

+ **Operational Risk (including ESG, Cyber, and Innovation)**
+ Operational Risk: works with our business partners to ensure that the operational risk that stems from people and technological processes, including change, are identified, monitored, and managed effectively.
+ **Model Development (MD), & Validation**
+ MD is responsible for developing risk and capital models related to Trading Market Risk, Credit Risk, as well as Operational Risk bank wide. These models cover, but are not limited to, Advanced Measurement Approach for Operational Risk, Credit Risk Rating models, Credit Risk parameters (PD, LGD, UGD), Economic Capital models, IFRS9 models for Credit Risk, Value at Risk (VaR) and Counterparty Credit Risk models.
+ **Regulatory Risk**
+ Providing advice and counsel on ongoing regulatory communication and emerging developments, as well as new initiatives within the bank that have a regulatory impact.
