Roles & Responsibilities:
- Residential service plumbing services
- Day-to-day installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems
- Complete retrofits, fabrication, and installation of new home construction plumbing systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Plumber certificate
- 4+ years experience in the service plumbing industry
- Gas fitting license an asset
- Valid driver's license
- A basic set of hand tools for plumbing and gas fitting - all large tools to be supplied by the employer

Key Information:
- Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)

Job Description:
- Install HVAC systems, including boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation systems according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately install systems.
- Conduct diagnostics on malfunctioning HVAC units and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
- Completion of an HVAC training program - Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate and Gasfitter Class B Certificate (Preferred)
- 3 year commercial and residential experience as an HVAC Installer or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, plumb, weld, and repair appliances.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate and Gasfitter Class B Certificate (Preferred)

A day in the life:
The journeyman will service and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment, working to attain first time fixes on service calls. They will be interacting directly with our valued customers and service dispatch team in a professional and courteous manner.
- Services and diagnoses HVAC and refrigeration issues in all commercial applications.
- Provides professional service with a focus on customer experience.
- Installs HVAC Equipment
- Orders and installs necessary parts and materials as needed.

- Previous experience in installations such as, split systems, RTUs, walk in coolers and remote refrigeration considered an asset
