PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

The Village Kids Program and Communications Associate oversees the public-facing aspects of Village Kids. This includes managing and supporting the host team, as well as ensuring that the overall experience in classrooms and large groups is a positive space for kids, youth, and families on Sundays, in addition to overseeing the logistics and promotion of events and programs during the week and helping the team to maintain alignment with the Village Church brand across all platforms and spaces. The Village Kids Team Associate collaborates closely with the Village Kids Site Leader to execute the mission, vision, and strategy of Village Kids.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees Family Connections follow-up and general team communication (attendance, birthdays, broad email communication, new family connections, monthly newsletters, site-wide announcements, etc.) in collaboration with the Site Leader.
  • Provide ongoing training and discipleship opportunities to the Village Kids Team.
  • Administers the Village Family Facebook Group, ensuring timely and relevant information is posted.
  • Coordinates administrative tasks related to all events, mid-week programs, and Sunday mornings at the direction of the Site Leader (including venue rentals, form creation and management, calendaring, parent communication, data collection and preparation).
  • Plans and executes events for the Hangout Does, creating a strong community of kids, parents, and volunteers.
  • Adds to and supports the data on Village Connect (new volunteer process queue, volunteer retention, training, record keeping, teams, groups and families), helping ensure the information is correct and up-to-date.
  • Ensures proper oversight of the system (collecting information, etc.) for welcoming kids with exceptionalities into Village Kids who have additional needs or may require pairing with a Buddy.
  • Ensures Sundays are executed with excellence (with particular attention to the check-in and host experience, classroom and large space aesthetics).
  • Ensures the physical space and experience are consistent with the Village brand expectations by managing the Large Group spaces on Sundays, including the ongoing management of Village Kids classroom items, road cases, etc.
  • Participates in planning and executing family, site, and HUB events.
  • Participates in the budgeting process (collaboration with Site Leader).
  • Ensures all responsibilities are completed in a purposeful, strategic, and focused manner that points people to Jesus.

Position Summary:

Working closely with the Director of Operations, and reporting to the Clinical Director, the Care for Kids Lead will be a valuable member of the pediatric team in supporting the organization’s strategic plan and vision. The Care for Kids Program Lead plays a key role in overseeing and advancing pediatric health services at Niagara Falls Community Health Centre. Main Responsibilities/Duties:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Care for Kids program to meet the health needs of children 0-5 years in the Niagara Region.
  • Conduct routine well-baby exams which include immunizations and assessments.
  • Responsible to provide and lead health education and teaching while remaining informed of pediatric clinical guidelines and recommendations.
  • Provide point of care in other community settings.
  • Collaborate with community partners and other health organizations to establish pediatric care pathways throughout the Region.

  • Service planning and provider matching: collaborate with families and clinical supervisors to align client needs with qualified providers.
  • Manage scheduling and rescheduling, ensuring sessions are aligned with provider availability, family needs, and service authorizations.
  • Partner with marketing to deliver workshops and campaigns that engage families and support community awareness.

Clinical Caseload Monitoring

  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, senior therapists, and instructor therapists to ensure treatment plans are implemented with fidelity.
  • Develop and maintain service plans with the clinical team.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, treatment delivery, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure all support provided aligns with person-directed plans that respect dignity, rights, and well-being.
  • Lead weekly clinical team meetings to review service delivery, assignments, and quality standards.

Financial Management

  • Review and reconcile service plan budgets, billing, and payments.
  • Monitor program revenue and staffing expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
  • Approve payroll for supervised staff.
  • Ensure billing accuracy with families, funding sources, and third-party payers.

Staffing, Training & Development

  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff and providers.
  • Oversee provider credentialing and compliance requirements.
  • Foster a strong team culture through team norms, regular meetings, effective communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure staff follow the Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Services and Supports to Promote the Social Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to supervisory staff.

Program Administration

  • Maintain appropriate staff and provider schedules.
  • Adjust scheduling to respond to staffing changes or client needs.
  • Oversee and approve therapy timesheets, aligning with service plans.
  • Ensure program goals align with OneHealths Montessori Kids mission and overall strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • College Diploma or Bachelors degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, or related discipline.
  • Training or certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention), Conflict Management, Leadership, Disability Studies, or ABA is an asset.
  • Minimum 57 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in autism services, education, or developmental services.
  • Experience with service planning, budgeting, billing, and scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and evidence-based treatment models.
  • Demonstrated skills in people management, coaching, and staff development.
  • Competency with scheduling and database systems.
  • Knowledge of Ontarios relevant legislation (ESA, OHSA, Social Inclusion Act).
  • Experience with residential/respite or therapy center programs is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French considered an asset.

Position Overview

The Team Lead role is ideal for a seasoned ABA therapist or senior instructor with leadership experience in clinical and therapy environments. You will oversee daily programming blocks, providing real-time clinical direction, managing staff flow and schedules, and ensuring program fidelity.

As Team Lead, you will act as the point person during centre programming, ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate therapist-to-youth matching, consistent data collection, and responsive care for both staff and families.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 direct therapy using ABA-based strategies with assigned youth.
  • Lead daily team huddles; assign therapists to youth based on skill, goals, and needs.
  • Manage therapist schedules and coverage in real time; adjust for absences or flow changes.
  • Coordinate room setup, therapy binders, logs, and materials prior to sessions.
  • Ensure therapists complete accurate data collection, session clean-up, and documentation.
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to Instructor Therapists.
  • Support functional assessments; assist in ABLLS-R, AFLS, and VB-MAPP scoring.
  • Monitor program integrity and flag concerns to the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Collaborate on Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Communicate with families as needed; support intake transitions for new clients.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and supporting transition into programming.

Qualifications

  • 35 years of experience delivering ABA or IBI services.
  • Prior experience supervising or leading therapy teams required.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage the daily flow of the centre.
  • Experience in clinic-based programs preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
  • ABA Certificate, Autism & Behavioural Science diploma, or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, and behaviour tracking systems.
  • Comfort supporting toilet training, self-injurious behaviour (SIB), and aggression.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check required.

Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced RBA( RBA ) to join our multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis. This is an in-person role within our centre. The successful candidate will support a caseload of children with ASD and related neurodevelopmental needs, working alongside therapists, clinical supervisors, and families to develop and monitor individualized treatment programs.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and skill-based assessments.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).

  • Supervise Instructor Therapists, senior therapists providing coaching, training, and fidelity checks.

  • Track clinical outcomes and provide documentation aligned with MCCSS and OAP standards.

  • Attend in-centre planning meetings and collaborate with senior clinicians.

    • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, OAP guidelines, and ethical service delivery.

    • Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team within a busy clinical environment.

    • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.

    • Must be available for in-person services. This is not a virtual position.




Compensation & Hours

    • 75.00/hour Fee-for-service

    • 1012 hours per week

    • Flexible weekday schedule

    • Reports to the Clinical Program Director

    • Supervision provided by our consulting Psychologist
