**What you'll need to succeed (required skills)**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
+ 16+ Years of Supply Chain Planning experience on transformation Projects and 7+ years of demonstrated ability in Kinaxis Rapid Response Implementations.
+ Coordinating planning activities with distributors and contract manufacturers, and leading all aspects of functional supply chain capabilities like ERP/MRP, APS, Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Aggregated Supply Planning, Order Fulfilment, and Inventory Management.
+ Understanding of the solution development life cycle, including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment.
+ Lead all aspects of training activities for business users for Kinaxis Rapid Response applications & processes.

Your Contribution:

Required Qualifications
• Academic degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research or a related field with an excellent academic record.
• Experience in supply chain management with practical knowledge in demand/supply planning and/or inventory management & optimization.
• Capability to develop RapidResponse(Maestro) resources to provide or support the expected functionalities.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Skills:
•Detailed-oriented and self-directed.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Practical knowledge of supply chain systems and business operations.
• Experience in software implementation projects is an asset.

**Position Summary:**
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of supply, purchasing policies, and supplier management for multiple sites. In addition, this position is responsible for keeping the organization's raw materials, products, systems and documentation synchronized. The Supply Chain Manager will lead strategic initiatives to improve supplier service levels and strengthen the supply base and support long term business growth. Additionally, this position plays a vital role maintaining utilization and development of and ERP systems. Responsible to develop and drive departmental metrics to support business strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Participates in the development and implementation as well as the monitoring of all department policies, procedures, technical guidelines, and quality assurance standards. Ensures quality performance, customer satisfaction and adherence to the requirements of regulatory agencies.
+ Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve performance in overall total supply costs, service level and quality.
+ Develop sourcing strategies for new and existing products. Prepare requests for quotation, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate supply agreements as appropriate.
+ Develop and lead a robust supplier management program to monitor supplier performance in the areas of quality, service, and total cost.

**Education and Experience:**
+ 5-7 years of Procurement/Purchasing experience, bio-technology experience is preferred.

**What are your contributions to the team?**
- Develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances.
- Develop negotiation business strategies.
- Lead and participate in the development of the commodity by managing projects that would include the preparation of business cases.
- Lead, develop and execute the commodity strategy and provide to senior management project and negotiation statuses.
- Identify, analyze and realize cost reduction opportunities
- Create and maintain formal networks internally and externally.
- Act as single interface with suppliers of new business.
- Support Sites and/or Business Units with appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Coordinate and lead negotiations of any claims with suppliers in support of business unit production issues.
- Support Business Units in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance to our business requirements
- Coordinate the Procurement Agents activities in relation to the balanced scorecard objectives, the master plans and the detailed plans.
- Support Procurement Agents in their contracts negotiations, the commercial agreements and product changes negotiations, as well as the contracts amendments;
- Participate in the governance of cost reduction initiatives and ensure projects come to fruition.
- Actively participate in supplier program reviews led by the business units.
- Develop and coach team members on procurement initiatives and processes.
- Support commodity manager in the performance development plan process.
