- Experience with modern day ASIC development including RTL logic design, physical synthesis, STA, lint, LEC, and understanding of PnR.

Role Summary
The SAP BTP Architect is responsible for leading the overall solution architecture, design, and technical direction of SDAs SAP BTP solutions and client engagements. The role combines technical leadership, solution governance, hands-on development, and pre-sales consulting to ensure SDA delivers enterprise-grade, scalable, and high-quality outcomes across both products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business requirements and propose high-level solution designs aligned with SAP best practices.
- Define and oversee solution architecture across SAP BTP services (e.g., Build Apps, Work Zone, Integration Suite, CAP, HANA Cloud, IAS/IPS, etc.).
- Act as technical lead, liaising with development teams to ensure adherence to standards, clean core principles, and modern development techniques.
- Perform coding and development tasks directly, leveraging modern SAP BTP frameworks (e.g., CAP, Fiori/UI5, Build Apps, APIs, OData/REST) to deliver high-quality, reusable, and scalable solutions.
- Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance on deliverables to ensure performance, security, and compliance.
- Support SDAs client consulting services, including workshops, solution assessments, and technical design sessions.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities through solution presentations, RFP responses, and client demonstrations.
- Advise on emerging SAP BTP capabilities and contribute to SDAs product roadmap and service innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3+ years hands-on in SAP BTP.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BTP development frameworks (CAP, Fiori/UI5, Build Apps) and cloud services (HANA Cloud, IAS/IPS, Integration Suite).
- Proven experience as a technical lead or solution architect in SAP BTP implementations, both product and consulting contexts.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (mandatory); French is considered an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (citizen, PR, or valid work permit).
- Located in Montreal (preferred) or elsewhere in Canada.
