En tant que Mechanical Lead Engineer, vous serez responsable de la coordination et de la gestion des activités d’ingénierie mécanique et des études générales sur un projet ou appel d’offres. Vos responsabilités
Responsabilités mécaniques et d’aménagement :
Être responsable de l’ensemble des aménagements des rames et voitures : cabine, confort climatique, vidéosurveillance, pictogrammes, attelage, équipements de toiture et de châssis, pantographe, accès, etc.
Piloter la conception mécanique et son intégration dans l’environnement du train en prenant en compte les contraintes de fabricabilité, maintenance, performances et sécurité.
Proposer un concept de conception conforme aux règles métier et aux normes en vigueur.
Études Générales et Architecture :
Être garant de l’allocation préliminaire 3D des volumes trains/voitures pour l’architecture des sous-systèmes.
Assurer les activités Gabarit et Cinématique , ainsi que Masse et Centrage , et coordonner leur diffusion aux parties concernées.
Participer à la définition de l’architecture mécanique avec le TAM (Train Architecture Manager), en tenant compte du poids, du gabarit et des interfaces techniques.
Pilotage et coordination :
Planifier et piloter les activités d’Études Générales (planning, ressources, livrables).
Encadrer une équipe de concepteurs (3-4 personnes) et coordonner les contributeurs mécaniques.
Suivre les revues de conception (DRCL) et mettre en œuvre les actions correctives.
Livrables et validation :
Valider les livrables du domaine mécanique (implantations, gabarits, masse, volumes alloués, cinématique wagon/bogie).
Transmettre les éléments validés aux parties prenantes du projet.
Définir et suivre les plans de certification et validation associés.
Support & amélioration continue :
Accompagner les équipes sourcing, industrialisation et fabrication lors de la montée en cadence de production.
Participer à la définition du PBS (Product Breakdown Structure) mécanique du projet.
Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des pratiques, en lien avec le Responsable du Domaine Études Générales.
- Master en génie mécanique ou équivalent, au moins 5 ans d'expérience en intégration mécanique au sein d'un bureau d'études dans le secteur du transport, idéalement dans le ferroviaire.
- Solide connaissance de la conception et de l'intégration mécanique .
- Connaissance de Catia V5 pour la modélisation et la solution PDM pour gérer la maquette numérique (DMA, enovia, teamcenter.)
- Une approche pratique structurée et organisée.

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of utility relocation designs, ensuring alignment with project specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the development and implementation of utility relocation strategies in collaboration with clients, municipalities, agencies, and utility providers.

The qualifications you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in underground utility design and coordination, including water, storm, sanitary, gas, hydro, and telecom systems.
- Proven experience leading utility coordination on complex infrastructure projects, ideally within municipal, transit, or MTO environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with GIS and/or BIM is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario regulations, utility standards, and permitting processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with or for major utility providers.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
