The manufacturing operator is responsible for the manufacture of solid oral dosage form using specialized equipment by transforming raw materials into finished product, according to established procedures.

Responsabilities & duties

  • Prepare rooms and equipment for weighing ingredients and manufacturing according to the procedures in force
  • Perform all manufacturing operations (weighing, mixing, granulation, drying, compression, encapsulation and embedding)
  • Perform weighing
  • SAP transaction
  • In-process testing (weight, hardness, thickness, disintegration, LOD, etc.)
  • Complete production records, document and count, calculate yield, justify rejected quantities
  • When required, clean equipment and rooms used or to be used
  • Participate in writing and updating work instructions
  • Act as a trainer if necessary
  • Apply current safety standards, GMP and internal regulations

Skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Autonomous and ability to work in a team
  • Basic computer knowledge
