**Responsibilities**
+ Assist with process, tools, personnel, and workshops with lessons learned.
+ Assist with and plan key problem-solving workshops, follow through and track actions with owners to ensure effectiveness of countermeasures implemented.
+ Assist with Building Smarter Innovations program on site.
+ Assist in triage process and categorization of incoming items to ensure closed loop system is being adhered to.
+ Assist CI Manager in rollout and communications of Excellence in Nuclear Construction (ENC) Initiative.
+ Schedule, attend and help facilitate workshops in rollout of ENC workshops.
+ Follow up on Action Tracking with owners to ensure timely rollout of phased approach of ENC.
+ Assist with planning activities implementation (T-Process, Last Planner System) as implemented in project.
+ Actively promote a nuclear safety culture to all levels of the project teams and support Human
+ Performance program management.
+ Gather metrics and create reports and scorecards where required.
+ Train key staff and conduct paired Waste Walks both in field and office setting.
+ Assist with implementation and ongoing maintenance of a BIG Room.
+ Schedule, provide input and administrative oversight of Layered Leadership Models as it is kicked off in projects.
+ Train project support and construction personnel on Waste Walk and Waste elimination methodologies and provide oversight where required.
**Qualifications**
+ Post-secondary education in Engineering or Business.
+ Proficient use of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
+ Previous experience using Electronic Document Management Systems is an asset.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are required.
+ Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively with minimal direction.
+ Effective organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure work environment.
+ Ability to work effectively within a team.
+ Valid Driver's License #LI-IS1

POSITION SUMMARY
The Continuous Improvement Engineer drives process excellence, operational efficiency, and cost savings across our manufacturing operations.   • Analyze data to identify trends and root causes; recommend and implement corrective actions.

  • Partner with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to support problem-solving efforts and standardize best practices.

  • Participate in capital project planning and ROI assessments as they relate to process improvement.
  • Support safety and sustainability initiatives by promoting process reliability and operational discipline.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aluminum extrusion or metal fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CI tools (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience driving change and fostering a continuous improvement culture.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

  • In office at our Lakeshore location.

About This Opportunity:

The primary role of the Continuous Improvement Analyst is to collect, aggregate and report information on operational performance for targeted trouble shooting and implementation of corrective actions. The person in this role generates daily and weekly performance reports that are incorporated in operating rhythms. In addition, they support the ongoing maintenance of SharePoint, data integrity, and analysis/reporting critical for the Brandon plant to drive business performance.  The role will be based at our Brandon, Manitoba facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate weekly KPI reports for plant leadership review.

  • Ensure all information is correctly reported and provide daily and weekly production reports as needed.

  • Administer SharePoint tools and forms. Ongoing updates and maintenance of master data which drives these tools.

  • Generate ad-hoc SharePoint tools to support plant wide functions for all departments.

  • Generates automated intelligence software reports (SAP, Carlisle, etc.).

  • Monitor plant performance and production data. Daily checks to ensure assets are online and accuracy of data.

  • Creation of new ‘tools’ requiring advance level excel skills (Macros, Pivots, VLOOKIP, Find/Match, SUMIFS, etc.).

  • Support the execution of projects both supporting analytics, aggregating information and participating in Continuous Improvement events such as Kaizens.

  • Executing floor level studies relevant to current projects or new opportunities to define pipeline opportunities.

  • Lead Continuous Improvement PDCA (Plan/Do/Check/Act) project(s) towards achieving the goals of the plant’s Operations Excellence waste elimination pillar.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is an asset.

  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work as a team with all functional areas to support a common goal.

  • Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

  • Identify target efficiencies and production costs
  • Identify process efficiency improvement opportunities through the implementation of new technologies, improved methods, and optimized process flow within the facility
  • Facilitate problem solving sessions with Company Employees using Continuous lmprovement tools and methodology
  • Update and maintain relevant SOPs and Process Documentation
  • Must be familiar with the following analysis techniques: Time studies, Process Mapping and Process Flow diagrams, Statistical Process Control methodology, Statistical Analysis tools, Project Management methodology, Continuous improvement methodology (Lean-Six Sigma)
  • Exploring alternative/ new technologies that to improve the process, product or activity
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd facilities

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a pharmaceutical environment or similar GMP regulated environment.
  • Post Secondary Education Required- Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics an asset
  • Certification as Lean/ Six Sigma Green Belt (required) or higher
  • Intimate knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes i.e. dispensing, blending, compressing, coating and encapsulation.
  • Intimate knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging equipment and processes i.e. fillers, inserters, cappers, labelers, Case Packing/ Palletizer, cartoners and bundlers
  • Knowledge of secondary processes affecting product release and manufacture i.e component testing and release, raw material and finished good release, procurement, finite and strategic planning
  • Commensurate knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing control and record keeping.
  • Strong data analysis skills as well as relevant software packages (Excel, MS Project, Minitab, etc)
  • Knowledge of health, safety and ergonomics
  • Up to 15% Travel may be required

The Job

We are seeking a CI Project Manager to join our Service team. This role combines customer engagement, and project leadership. The CI Project Manager will manage system improvement requests and follow up critical issue resolutions, while also preparing quotations and updates for customers to ensure transparency, and alignment. Acting as both a trusted advisor and a project lead, this person will drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main customer-facing contact for system improvement requests, long-term system performance discussions, and CI initiatives. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver solutions and quotations for CI projects and system enhancements in coordination with Operation, Service, Product, and R&D teams.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of CI requests: intake, scoping, quotation, design, prioritization, execution, and customer acceptance.
  • Lead customer meetings to present improvement proposals and project updates.
  • Coordinate internal resources (Operations, Product, R&D, and Service) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, and oversee project risks.
  • Provide clear and professional communication for critical system issues, including corrective actions and follow-up plans.
  • Refine and document best practices of CI project management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing project management, or service delivery roles
  • Experience preparing quotations, proposals, or commercial offers in a B2B environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical improvements into business value.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple customer projects, balancing scope, cost, and time.
  • Proficiency in project management and quotation tools (Jira, MS Project, or similar).
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Experience in autonomous mobile robot industry or SaaS is a plus
