The Logistics Manager / Senior Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing and improving our client's transportation strategy, route optimization, and fleet operations to ensure cost-effective, timely, and safe delivery of goods to retail locations, warehouses, and customers. This role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and operational oversight in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic transportation plans that align with business goals.
- Oversee daily logistics operations including route planning, delivery scheduling, and load optimization.
- Utilize routing software and GPS tracking systems to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Monitor real-time delivery performance and proactively resolve delays or issues.
- Manage the company-owned or leased vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with all safety, regulatory, and maintenance standards.
- Schedule and track routine fleet maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Supervise transportation team, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Track KPIs including on-time delivery, cost per mile, delivery accuracy, and fuel usage.
- Other as required
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management (preferably in a retail or distribution environment).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field is preferred.
- Proven track record in reducing logistics costs and improving delivery performance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.

Skills and Experience
- 2 years of experience in a logistics environment (preferably dispatching), or similar role in a related industry.
- University education required (Supply chain considered an asset).
- Advanced Microsoft and Excel skills with an ability to expand capabilities.
- Experience working with a customer relationship system (CRM).
- Effective communication & strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Bilingual (English & French) an asset.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support our expanding Vancouver operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective logistics operations in line with our global service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor the domestic and international movement of goods, including FCL, LCL, air, and truck shipments.
Coordinate and complete the logistics process cycle, from documentation preparation, shipment coordination, tracking, and delivery to payment collection, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance throughout.

Qualifications:
At least a Bachelors degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, international freight forwarding, or a related industry.

Proficient in logistics software, inventory management systems, and MS Office.
