**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Responsible for control and operation of one or more types of milling equipment.
+ Operates milling equipment (Milling Machine or Cold Planer) to properly mill asphalt/concrete to desired specifications based on usage
+ Manipulates hand or foot levers to control movements of milling machine that mills asphalt and concrete on roadways and related surfaces such as parking lots, streets, etc.
+ May perform other related duties, such as preventive maintenance on all milling machinery.
+ The operator is responsible for the efficient working condition of the equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
+ Keep company vehicle, tools and equipment clean and orderly, informing management of any safety concerns.
+ Other duties as assigned

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Additional Requirements:**
+ Experience working with construction crews with measurable production goals.
+ Flexible availability to include overtime, possible weekends and nights.
+ Work environments will vary making it necessary to tolerate weather conditions, such as rain and extreme temperatures. Employees may be exposed to dust, dirt, varying temperatures, loud noises, etc.
+ Milling equipment operation and related asphalt & road construction experience
+ Thorough understanding of all aspects of the paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
+ Thorough understanding of the paving milling process ( cold planing, asphalt milling and profiling ) is considered an asset
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

The Primary role of the Machine Operator will be to ensure that both packaging lines operate effectively and to reduce the downtime incurred in these areas.

Responsibilities & Duties: (This list is intended as a guideline and is not exhaustive)
- Lead all packaging changeover with the support of the Setup Team.
- Verify and fine-tune machine settings (laser printer, Kallfass, case packer, case labeler, and robots) to ensure smooth changeovers and minimal downtime. Assist Team Lead with Kallfass film changes.
- Perform daily checks on case packer vacuum cups; replace them as needed. Clean air and vacuum filters on packaging equipment and the Kallfass side seal blade.
- Perform MS cutter changeovers, including adjusting cut size and cake aligners as required.
- Complete changeovers for Ipak A and B and verify by making 20 lids.
- Adjust conveyor speeds in Pack A as required.
- Set up Robot Palletizer in Pack B and replace stretch wrapper film on Robots A and B.
- Conduct metal checks, adjust metal detector sensitivity, and complete X-ray daily pre-checklists.
- Monitor equipment performance during production, identify malfunctions, defects, or deviations from specifications. Keep setup binders accurate and up to date.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation.
- Assist in training, motivating, and developing Packaging Team Leads and Setup staff.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and comply to all safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Inspect blue packaging toolboxes weekly to ensure all tools are present and accounted for.
- Respond to maintenance calls from Setup for decorating and depositing areas; provide support or escalate to Maintenance when necessary.
- Establish and maintain centerline settings for various packaging equipment.
Position Requirements:
- An electrical or mechanical certificate from a recognized technical school or have minimum 5 years of setup experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attendance record and proven reliability.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills focused on root causes.
- Strong initiative and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting, climb stairs, and work efficiently under time pressure.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; team oriented.

- The nature of this position will require employee to perform a wide range of physical activities ranging from pushing and pulling heavy objects (50 – 100 lbs.) to crouching, kneeling, bending and handling. Repetitive finger motions are also required.
- Maintain a class one with air endorsement license.
- Drive company tractor and deliver products into the door to customers; including both private and government retailers.
- Complete vehicle circle checks and pre/post inspections on a daily basis. In one day may have to complete this process on the tractor as well as up to four trailers (this includes adjustment of up to ten separate brakes in one combination or potentially twenty-two in one day).
- Adjusting axle loading by sliding trailer tandems back or forward at up to ten times per day.
