We are currently seeking a Manager, Quality Management System (QMS) to take ownership of our compliance, audit, and continuous improvement processes. This is a critical leadership role, responsible for ensuring our QMS remains robust, efficient, and fully aligned with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.

Your Mission:

In this role, you won’t just manage quality systems, you’ll lead a culture of compliance and accountability across all programs, departments, and shop-floor activities. From planning internal audits to interfacing with third-party certifiers, you be the driving force behind our commitment to excellence.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

 Leading, planning, and executing internal QMS audits aligned with AS9100
Managing receiving inspection activities and part conformity
riving Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) from customer feedback
oordinating and hosting internal, supplier, and third-party audits

What You Bring to the Table:

degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering
ertification as an ISO 9001/AS9100 auditor
0+ years in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, including management-level responsibilities
eep knowledge of AS9100, ISO standards, and aerospace or nuclear sector requirements
roven leadership in problem-solving, process improvement, and compliance
trong communication skills with the ability to lead audits, write reports, and collaborate with customers

Utilize analytics tools to generate reports, identify process exceptions, and assist stakeholders in resolving operational issues
Collaborate with key business users to improve Business Intelligence capabilities using tools such as Power BI, Jasper, SCI and Excel
Ensure the operations follow all Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP)/Good Drivers Practices (GDP) for transport rules and regulations
Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Bacheloru2019s Degree in supply chain, logistics or other related field with 2+ years of experience working with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably with Infios, Manhattan or other similar applications OR High School Diploma plus 5+ years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of WMS processes and best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively
Proven experience in training and supporting users in WMS functionalities.
An ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions
A high degree of travel will be required with this position to various locations across Canada and the US u2013 80% to 100% travel required
This position must pass a post-offer background check

Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit Sharing

We are currently seeking new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program.  This is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing.

Please note that successful candidates to this position may be required to relocate within Canada to complete their training. Relocation assistance will be provided. We have opportunities available across the country!

The Role:

As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. You will get to know our customers by growing a sales territory of your own and providing world class customer service.  You will receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates within a region and across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO.

Program Outline:

Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer service  – Build your product knowledge and gain hands on experience with the logistical side of the business and learn how our products get from the vendor to the customer. You will also get involved in our customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.

Phase 2: Customer relationships and Procurement  – Go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing large-scale projects and problem solving. While building relationships with customers and vendors, and providing world class service, learn how to read blueprint drawings to create a quote of materials the customer will require to complete their project.

Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales  – With a focus on business development, you will learn how to find new business opportunities, how to sell our products, negotiate contracts resulting in expanding the customer base of the business, and creating level 5 customer partnerships.

Phase 4: Leadership and Operations  – It is now your turn to provide a strategic vision, lead a team of your own, mentor others, and run the business by focusing on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

Once you have completed the phases of training, you will be ready to take on the challenge of being a manager at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.

  • University degree or college diploma – all disciplines of study will be considered
  • Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent leadership, customer service and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Strong interest in sales
  • Valid driver’s license

# **Responsibilities**

- Validate systems and user needs, perform gap analysis, document requirements, and prepare functional specifications and wireframes/mockups.
- Coordinate and facilitate subject matter expert workshops or meetings.
- Prepare and present software demonstrations.
- Create and organize user guides.
- Participate in quality assurance, validate compliance, and prepare test plans.
- Validate functionality and gain signoffs.
- Develop and maintain strong, customer-focused relationships and subject matter groups. Ensure effective communication.
- Document as-built solutions for internal and user audiences.
- Identify impacts of upcoming system changes and initiate necessary changes to accommodate.
- Contribute to pilot and implementation plans, participate in pilots and rollouts and reporting/follow-up activities.
- Identify training needs, create training material, and conduct training.
- Assist with service requests, troubleshoot incidents.
- Gain understanding of relevant business processes, challenges, and how they are supported by underlying applications.

# **Qualifications**

- Postsecondary degree or diploma in information management, information technology, business administration, computing science, or a related discipline.
- Co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to think logically and analytically, and to constructively express ideas and concepts.
- Ability to work independently and in a team by collaborating to solve problems.
- Knowledge and practical experience with basic software implementations, software development lifecycle methodologies, business process reengineering, and organizational change management.
- Ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs and make recommendations that support the project/solution and company-wide objectives.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts, cloud computing, mobile application delivery, and data integration concepts.
