  • Dvelopper, configurer et optimiser les processus de fabrication de la conception initiale jusqu'au dmarrage, au transfert et l'amlioration continue.
  • Dfinir, mettre en uvre et soutenir les lignes d'assemblage en utilisant les PFD, les PFMEA, l'quilibrage des lignes, et les analyses des causes profondes (RCA).
  • Concevoir, tester et mettre en service des outils et des quipements de production tels que des cellules de soudage, des dispositifs de levage et des quipements d'essai.
  • Diriger les efforts de conception pour la fabrication et l'assemblage (DFMA) afin de rduire les cots et d'amliorer la qualit de l'assemblage, en proposant des solutions concrtes pour l'optimisation.
  • Effectuer des valuations des risques, grer les contraintes de cot et de temps et veiller au respect des rglementations en matire de scurit, de sant et d'environnement.
  • Diriger le dveloppement de fonctionnalits pour les logiciels de soutien la production, en amliorant les systmes ERP, MES, de suivi de projet et IoT pour rationaliser les oprations.

  • Soutenir le redmarrage du soudage ultrasonique et le dveloppement des paramtres
  • Soutenir le programme de formation du personnel de production.

Taiga Motors, a rapidly growing off-road electric vehicle technology and manufacturing company, is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for our production facilities. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient assembly of Taigas innovative products, with a focus on quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest production standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from initial design through startup, handover, and continuous improvements.
  • Define, implement, and support assembly lines using PFDs, PFMEA, line balancing, process windows, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Design, test, and commission production tools and equipment such as welding cells, lifting devices, testing equipment.

Develop, monitor, and execute project plans (Project Management)
Drive continuous improvement, identify improvement opportunities, cost savings, quality improvements, productivity, and reliability

Assist with reporting and participate in plant monthly and quarterly Balanced Scorecard (BSC) reviews
Support site documentation for Plant internal Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) audit
Participate in Plant internal Process audit
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Process/Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor''s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Project implementation skills from initial stages to completion
Proven track record of successful projects on schedule and within budget
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing
Six Sigma certification preferred
Excellent Organizational and Communication skills
Effective planning, prioritizing and time management skills
Ability to mentor/coach Plant Co-Op students
Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, AutoCAD/Inventor

- Design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution and wastewater collection infrastructure, site plans
- Preparation of engineering reports and contract specifications
- Quantity and cost estimation
- Coordinating with Project Managers, technical design staff, CAD staff and others
- Providing on-site inspection services for the construction of new water and wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater pump stations, water, and wastewater linear infrastructure
- Review of shop drawings for compliance with construction contract documents
- Contract Administration duties including: issuance of field instructions, change orders, payment certificates and other construction administrative documentation
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University and either a registered P. Eng. or the ability to become registered as a P.Eng. or EIT
- Experience providing design services and construction administration services on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated skill with MS Office
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required as is an ability to work independently within the bounds of direction provided by the project manager
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required for this position
- Travel may be required
- Quick and adaptive learner in a team environment
