Job Description

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will drive advanced manufacturing strategies, optimize processes, and implement cutting-edge technologies to achieve operational excellence and innovation. You will report directly to our Advanced Mfg Engineer Manager, and you'll work out of our Cambridge, ON, location on an on-site work schedule.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
+ Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are producible and meet yield and cost targets
+ Determine manufacturing processes, procure and set up equipment, develop work instructions
+ Support production teams with identification/resolution of manufacturing issues
+ Perform/Lead Root Cause Corrective Analysis and drive corrective actions to closure
+ Oversee all aspects of capital projects including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
**Qualifications**
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.

+ Experience in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
+ Experience in the use of Lean tools
+ Basic knowledge of dip brazing processes
+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
+ Basic knowledge of industry standards and specifications

+ Strong communication skills
+ Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
+ Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision

Base Salary: $130,000- $165,000 bonus benefits

Our client is a very well-established food manufacturing processing & packaging organisation with 3- 4 sites in Canada. They have a job open for Director- Supply Chain (Raw Material & Inventory Planning, Demand & Supply Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, Transportation) to be based out of their facility located in Milton – Guelph- Cambridge, ON area . This is a hands-on strategic yet daily tactical leadership role to lead Material Planners Buyers, Inventory Planners, Warehouse personnel, Logistics & Supply Chain in a fairly manual process supporting all plant sites for consensus forecasting, central material & capacity planning, purchasing, inventory warehousing & logistics. All candidates must have established success leading manufacturing plant level Supply Chain supporting Material & Capacity Planning, consensus forecasting. There is some travel involved domestically in Canada 15%


Director, Supply Chain will be fully responsible for the end-to-end supply chain of 3-4 manufacturing sites for short shelf-life temperature-controlled food processing packaging working closely leading sourcing, selection and performance management of vendors for raw materials ingredients and packaging, establish and manage supply chain KPIs, streamline lead-times and set-up Supply Chain SOPs & Best Practices. You will work with the logistics partners, 3rd party carriers for inbound and outbound freight nationally,be responsible for raw materials planning (packaging , ingredients, MRO, MRP), finished goods Inventory, Warehousing, Transportation & Purchasing. This is a Continuous Improvement strategic yet daily tactical role, presently with fairly manual processes, responsible for establishing short term and long-term strategy while providing leadership, coaching, mentoring and performance management to 4-5 direct reports, leading them through recent ERP implementation.


Director, Supply Chain will ideally have a minimum of 5-7 years’ of leadership experience in plant level manufacturing in Fresh / frozen / ready to eat Food, Produce, Dairy, Protein, Meat, Ready -to-Eat, Fresh, Daily or Produce, managing plant level supply chain including sourcing and contracts strong analytical numbers and cost driven mindset, excellent analytical skills – Excel, Power BI and similar and established success in laying down Supply Chain strategy yet manging daily tactical functions. Bachelor’s degree, experience with food manufacturing plant level supply chain helps. Familiarity with GMP, CFIA, and other food safety compliance is a MUST. Ability to work on-site 3-4 days initially and be able to travel 10-15% nationally is a MUST.

**JOB STRUCTURE AND COMMUNICATIONS**
**Job Structure**
+ This job reports to the Quality Control Manager.
+ This job has no formal direct reports but may have oversight of a small group of Quality Control Technicians.
**Communication**
+ Must be able to clearly communicate with Site Managers, Field Engineers and Authorized Inspectors.
+ Must be able to communicate using correct vocabulary.
+ Work under technical supervision and guidance.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Undertake moderately complex technical assignments in support of activities that are part of an ongoing quality program.
+ Perform quality control duties on projects/sites including:- Perform monitoring of processes via MITPs.- Ensure procedures are adhered to during project execution.- Verify and maintain training records electronically in GTS or on paper records.- Perform NDE related responsibilities on projects where union jurisdictions allow.
+ Work may be performed in a radiological environment.
+ Perform material receipt and in-process inspections to ensure compliance to BWXT standards, technical specifications and the ASME code.
+ Assist with the review and completion of Work Packages/History Dockets.
+ Assist with procedure and MITP reviews.
+ Perform vendor source inspection as required.
**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
+ Post-secondary NDE/Quality Technologist diploma or related education.
+ 3+ years industry experience required.
+ CGSB Liquid Penetrant Level 2 Certification is a definite asset.
+ CGSB Level 2 Certification in other NDE methods would be an asset.
+ CWB Level 1 or 2 Certification would be an asset.
+ Extensive site work/travel (up to 70%).
+ A NDE background with a solid knowledge of all NDE processes is an asset.
+ Familiarity with the ASME Code.
+ Comfortable working in confined space situations.
+ Comfortable working in a radiation environment.
+ Willing to work nights, weekends and Statutory Holidays.
+ Willing to work in excess of 70 hours per week.
+ Must be able to work effectively in a group atmosphere and independently.
**Security Clearance:**
This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between ((64,000)) and ((90,000)) per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
