**Assembler in Gananoque**
**Job Description**
Join our team in the ECG department, where you will contribute to the production of sensors for medical devices. You will rotate through day, afternoon, and overnight shifts weekly, working in a clean room environment. Your role includes setting up wiring on devices and conducting quality checks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble sensors for medical devices within the ECG department.
+ Rotate through day, afternoon, and overnight shifts weekly.
+ Set up wiring on devices with precision.
+ Conduct thorough quality checks on products.
+ Maintain cleanliness and adhere to protocols in a clean room environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production, general labor, and general production.
+ Strong manual dexterity.
+ Good vision to ensure accuracy in assembly and inspection.
+ Ability to pay attention to detail for extended periods.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work with smaller assembly parts.
+ Proficiency in completing heavy FDA documentation in English.

Experience a clean and regulated FDA site.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.

**Objective:**
Effective management of Product Quality Control and Quality Processes to ensure product performance, product cost management, effective reserve utilization and customer satisfaction
This position starts in May 2025.
**Responsibilities:**
Safety:
+ Implementation of Amrize Safety Policies, and Compliance with Government Legislation
+ Safety Induction of Visitors to Quality Lab or site as required
+ Execution of Job Hazard Analyses for QC Tasks, and implementation of Action Items
+ Execution and implementation of Lab/QC Safety Improvement Plans
Concrete Mix Management and Performance:
+ Test and monitor concrete and aggregate quality for the area and provide monthly reports to quality control team
+ Implement programs and processes to ensure compliance of all products with relevant Codes, Standards, and Specifications
+ Implement Amrize Quality Program, including sampling, testing, reporting and follow up for all products as determined for each site of responsibility
+ Record , monitor and communicate concrete performance with key stakeholders as required - investigate variances from Plan and establish corrective actions as required
+ Provide input to ensure alignment between Sales and Operational staff to ensure product performance meets customer expectations
+ Participate in QC Planning & Activities
+ Effective use of Quadrel and Command software
+ Perform concrete lab trials for new mixes and/or products
+ Provide technical product expertise to sales, dispatch and operations
Human Resources:
+ Participate in the development and implementation of site specific product performance knowledge for Operations staff
Technical Support:
+ Participate in Quality Audits, including the development and implementation of Action Plans for Quality Improvement
+ Provide Expert Customer Support - Field Sales Support and Quality Incident Investigation and Resolution as required
+ Liaise with customers to ensure acceptable product performance, and acquire knowledge for potential innovation and product improvement
+ Promote Amrize VAP Products to customers in partnership with the VAP rep.
Financial Accountability
+ Ensure efficient utilization of resources provided, and optimize costs where practical and possible
