The opportunity
dcbel is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer that will be responsible for the industrialization, optimization, and continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual contributor with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is willing to get directly involved to drive results.
Main responsibilities
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) ramp-up and training at contract manufacturer sites. Maintain issue logs and track issues to resolution.
- Populate ERP, MRP, and PLM systems with accurate production data.
- Own part quality, process optimization, and supplier industrialization throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor production throughput and quality metrics; recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop, map, and optimize manufacturing process flows, takt times.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure alignment with dcbels quality and manufacturing standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure robust error-proofing (poka-yoke) is built into manufacturing processes.
- Lead and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) efficiently, preventing recurring issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting cost reduction, waste elimination, lead-time improvements, and quality enhancement.
- Actively participate in design reviews with dcbel Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability and develop effective DFM (Design for Manufacturability) strategies in collaboration with suppliers.
Key requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience and proven ability.
- 5+ years experience working with electromechanical products; quality management experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and data analysis.
- Willingness to travel 3040%, sometimes on short notice.

dcbel is looking to hire a Manufacturing Information Analyst to join our data-driven manufacturing organization to spearhead the integration, management, and analysis of data from production, supply chain, testing, and quality control, using our ERP, PLM and MES systems. Youll drive operational growth by developing processes and managing the digital infrastructure that powers production, enhances visibility, automates workflows, and informs decision-making across our supply chain and contract manufacturing network. Your core responsibility will be to ensure our digital data twin accurately reflects every step of our procurement and manufacturing processes, mirroring the physical flow of goods in real time.
Main responsibilities
- Manage BOMs, specifications, and process data in ERP/PLM systems; ensure data accuracy and system alignment; configure workflows and generate reports.
- Optimize engineering and manufacturing workflows; standardize data entry and change management protocols.
- Develop compatibility matrix management, production tracking tools, and fixed asset tracking processes.
- Oversee ECOs, manage running/breaking changes in production, handle BOM updates, and coordinate with suppliers on BOM evolution.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for production, yield, and quality metrics; ensure real-time accuracy and usability. Monitor KPIs, produce reports, and propose data-driven enhancements.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, gather requirements, and deploy solutions to improve efficiency through ERP/PLM or other platforms.

10+ years of experience in IT or ERP project management, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Bilingual (French/English) with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Proven track record in establishing project management practices in transforming or low-maturity contexts

Comfortable working in hybrid project environments (Agile / Waterfall), with a pragmatic, results-driven approach

Strong understanding of ERP ecosystems (Epicor, D365, SAP, JD Edwards, or equivalent)

Excellent communication skills and experience with change management and stakeholder coordination

Location : Hybrid – Occasional onsite presence required on the South Shore of Montréal
