Who you are and what you’ll do

We’re looking for a versatile content marketer who sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. This is not a purely strategic leadership role, nor is it an entry-level content creator position. You’ll be our in-house content expert, turning business goals into compelling content that educates, inspires, and converts — and you’ll write much of it yourself.

You’ll be expected to bring ideas to the table, take a top-down strategy and run with it, and own the delivery of high-quality content across the full funnel. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape how Mappedin shows up to our key audiences — and your work will be visible across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and evolve Mappedin’s content strategy across blog, website, email, social, and more
  • Write and publish compelling content across formats: blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, product pages, email campaigns, landing pages, and sales enablement materials
  • Own and manage the content calendar, aligned with campaign timelines, launches, and strategic goals
  • Optimize content for SEO/LLM and performance metrics using AI tools and analytics
  • Contribute ideas for new content formats, campaigns, and creative experiments
  • Track and report on content performance with actionable insights to guide future work
  • Ensure all content maintains a consistent brand tone and message

What you bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS content marketing
  • A strong portfolio of high-performing content you’ve personally written or produced
  • Proven ability to take a brief (or high-level goal) and turn it into great content with minimal oversight
  • Strong grasp of SEO & LLM fundamentals, buyer personas, and the B2B buyer journey
  • Experience with CRMs and marketing platforms like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and AI writing tools
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work independently
  • Bonus: familiarity with the indoor mapping, location tech, or proptech space

What are some challenges?

We move fast and sometimes change directions. We can’t always wait for all the information before we try something. If you want us to guarantee exactly what you’ll be working on three months from now, we can’t give you that. On the other hand, there is a lot of high value work to do, and it won’t be boring. There is a lot of discovery work involved as we frequently do things that are ahead of current technology.

One of our values is playing for the team so you may need to sometimes put aside personal objectives in order to help meet more urgent company objectives, but others will do the same for you.

Behind the scenes

At Mappedin, we don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to how we work. While we are a remote-first company with colleagues around the globe, some roles are best suited for full-time, in-person work at our home office in Waterloo. We are committed to getting things done and holding each other accountable. We stay curious, embrace risks, and learn from our mistakes. We’re competitive and enjoy winning together as a team.

We welcome applications from people with disabilities. We provide reasonable accommodations for candidates upon request through the recruitment process. For additional information, please email us at or call us at and ask to speak to a member of the Human Resources team.
