Vos responsabilités
- Poser briques, blocs et pierres selon les plans et normes en vigueur.
- Rejointoiement (tuckpointing), remplacement de briques, réparation de façades.
- Réparation/reconstruction de cheminées, remplacement de linteaux/angles, pose de seuils et chapeaux.
- Démolition et préparation du site, traçage, prises de mesures et implantation.
- Préparer et ajuster les mortiers, manutention des matériaux, propreté du chantier.
- Lecture de plans/détails, respect des codes et standards de qualité.
- Montage, utilisation et démontage d'échafaudages en sécurité.
- Encadrement des apprentis/manœuvres et collaboration avec le contremaître.
- Application stricte des règles santé & sécurité (CNESST) et des procédures internes.
Profil recherché
- 2 à 5+ ans d'expérience pratique en brique/bloc/pierre (apprenti ou compagnon).
- Excellente maîtrise du repointage et des lignes/joints droits et propres.
- À l'aise de travailler en hauteur et à l'extérieur (météo variable).
- Capacité à soulever 23–36 kg (50–80 lb) de façon répétée.
- Permis de conduire valide et véhicule pour se déplacer dans le Grand Montréal.
- Français obligatoire; anglais atout.
- Carte ASP Construction (ou volonté de l'obtenir rapidement).
- Carte de compétence CCQ (apprenti/compagnon) : atout; requise sur chantiers syndiqués.
- Formations chute, échafaudage et SIMDUT/WHMIS : atouts.

Responsibilities
- Lay brick, block, and stone according to plans and applicable standards.
- Repointing (tuckpointing), brick replacement, façade repairs.
- Repair/rebuild chimneys, replace lintels/angles, install sills and caps.
- Demolition and site prep, layout/marking, measurements, and set-out.
- Prepare and adjust mortars, handle materials, keep a clean jobsite.
- Read plans/details; meet building codes and quality standards.
- Safely erect, use, and dismantle scaffolding.
- Support and guide apprentices/labourers; coordinate with the foreman.
- Strictly follow health & safety rules (CNESST) and company procedures.
Profile
- 2–5+ years hands-on experience with brick/block/stone (apprentice or journeyperson).
- Strong repointing skills; clean, straight lines and joints.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in variable weather.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 23–36 kg (50–80 lb).
- Valid driver's licence and vehicle for travel across Greater Montreal.
- French required; English an asset.
- ASP Construction safety card (or willingness to obtain quickly).
- CCQ competency card (apprentice/journeyperson) is an asset; required on unionized sites.
- Fall protection, scaffolding, and WHMIS training are assets.

Preparing the work truck at the beginning/end of the day
