Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec Company in Cambridge, Ontario, offers custom design and truck-body manufacturing and upfitting of utility, service, construction, railway and other custom truck bodies. **Who will you be working with?**
You will be working closely with the dedicated sourcing and inventory team to meet the sometimes challenging and pressing needs of the production department. You will report to the Sourcing and Inventory Manager.
**How will you make a difference?**
You will be a key team member responsible for picking, packing and shipping customer orders as well as counting, verifying, receiving and putting away incoming vendor material and in-house manufactured components. You will also be responsible for picking and staging all parts to meet the production schedule. Driving and shuttling of trucks may also be required.
**What do we want to know about you?**
Able to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Minimum of two years' experience in Shipping and Receiving using an ERP system (Global Shop Solutions experience an asset).
Minimum of two years' experience in inventory control, including cycle counting.
Must be willing to be trained/certified to operate a forklift.
Must show proof of clean driver's abstract (D licence an asset).
Demonstrate written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel.
**What will your typical day look like?**
Receive internal and external supplier goods; ship returns and outgoing materials as needed.
Inventory control including cycle counts and submitting replenishment orders to Sourcing.
Pick and stage parts for production requirements.
Performing daily inspections, i.e. forklift, yard.
Driving: supplier parts pickups; moving vehicles, etc.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
**What about the physical demands of the job?**
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to stand, climb ladders, wear PPE, talk, hear, observe small writing and labels, lift up to 50 lbs.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Manage the cycle count program and ensure that transactions and activities affecting inventory are recorded properly by verification through physical inventories, daily/weekly/monthly reporting and audits.
+ Maintain accurate inventory through daily and weekly cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory reconciliations.
+ Manage replenishment activities by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring raw materials are available to support uninterrupted production.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.76 Plus Shift Premium of $0.80 per hour per hour.

**What you'll do:**
**Job Overview:**
The Material Handler is primarily responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving materials within the warehouse. This position primarily supports the Receiving Department while also assisting with picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and general warehouse operations. The successful candidate will work safely and efficiently using warehouse equipment, SAP, and RF scanning technology.
**Basic Requirements of Position:**
- Safely receive, unload, inspect, and break down incoming loads using reach trucks and other material handling equipment.
- Use SAP and RF guns for receiving, picking orders, and put-away transactions.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate Forklifts, Reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other authorized equipment safely must be licensed .
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
**Qualifications:**
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) without assistance.
- Ability to occasionally lift heavier items with assistance or appropriate material handling equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

+ Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision

+ Computer skills with various applications
**Education or Formal Training:**
+ High school diploma or GED
**Experience:**
+ Minimum of 3 years warehouse experience
+ Background in warehousing and distribution preferred
