The Electrical Assembler will be responsible for:

• Act as a key team member to our manufacturing operation offering technical expertise for assembly of automatic transfer switches
• Use wire termination and component layout tools including but not limited to strippers, wire cutters, wire crimpers, screwdrivers, tee square, machinist square, tape measure, wrenches and pliers.
• Assembling control panel for emergency control according to assembly books, custom specs & quality standards

• Position, bolt, screw, clip, adjust or fasten parts and components together using hand, power tools, and equipment

Requirements:

• Previous experience with electrical and mechanical with strong analytical skills

Eaton is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler - Day Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Milton, Ontario location.
**Position Overview:**
Eaton's Milton Plant has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Assembler on our day shift. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position interprets the manufacturing information documents in order to mechanically assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts or modify basic components, sub-assemblies and structures using hand and power tools for the site's product lines.
**In this function you will:**
- Assemble components ensuring proper torque of bus and phase connectors.
- Read and interpret drawings while ensuring assembly bill of material accuracy.
- Check parts picked/delivered to parts required. Resolve discrepancies, if any, with supervisor.
- Escalate drawing concerns via appropriate channel.
- Repair and modify any errors detected by test/inspection.
- Work to CSA and UL code.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the internal KANBAN process.

- Perform in-process inspections and make adjustments to meet quality standards

RESPONSABILITS

• Tches gnrales de travail non limites au matriel de coupe / perage, expdition, rception, inventaire et tches mnagres 6s
• 70% brasage 30%tches mcaniques.
• Assistance la fabrication, perage et dcoupe de matriaux en acier
• Mcanique Tlerie : Assembler 2 sous-ensembles ventilo-convecteurs
• Aider la production de refroidisseurs au besoin
• Pose et coupe de tuyaux
• Nettoyage des cellules de travail et des espaces communs
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 2 ans
• Exprience antrieure en soudage.
• Exprience dans des secteurs similaires.
• tudes postsecondaires ou exprience connexe.
• Apprenant rapide
• Exprience en mcanique dans un environnement manufacturier apprcie
• Aptitude mcanique indispensable
• Prt faire des heures supplmentaires au besoin
• Exprience de chariot lvateur

RESPONSIBILITIES

• General labor tasks not limited to, Cutting / Drilling material, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and 6s house keeping duties.
• 70% brazing 30% mechanical tasks
• 
  Fabrication assistance, drill & cutting steel material
• 
  Mechanical Sheet metal assembly: Assemble 2 fan coil sub assemblies
• 
  Assist in the production of chillers as required
• 
  Pipe fitting and cutting
• 
  Cleaning work cells and common areas
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years
• Previous welding experience.
• Experience in similar industries
• Post-secondary education or related experience.
• Fast learner
• 
  Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• 
  Mechanical aptitude a must
• 
  Prepared to work overtime as required
• 
  Fork Lift Experience
