What you’ll be doing

Under the direction of the Director, IT and guidance from the IT Architect and Infrastructure Team Lead, lead the planning and prioritization of Microsoft 365 features rollouts across the organization, ensuring alignment with digital transformation goals and operational priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administer and configure Microsoft 365 environments, including but not limited to Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Power Platform.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security settings within Microsoft 365.
  • Monitor and optimize Microsoft 365 performance, ensuring reliability and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain a structured release cadence for Microsoft 365 features, categorized into Wave Releases, i.e. low-impact features with phased incremental rollouts, General Adoption Releases, i.e. org-wide deployments requiring training and adoption tracking, and high-impact releases managed as structured projects with partner engagement.
  • Under the guidance of the IT Architect and Infrastructure Team Lead and working in collaboration with IT teams, coordinate the end-to-end release process, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment of Microsoft 365 updates, minimizing disruption to business operations. This includes facilitating workshops and meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment on release plan.
  • Follow the guidance of the Communications team, draft and distribute release notes and other communication materials to inform users of new features, changes, and benefits.
  • In collaboration with the change management team, develop and implement strategies to drive user awareness and adoption of new Microsoft 365 features. Monitor and track the success of releases, ensuring user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Create self-service materials such as quick videos, FAQs, and user guides to support Wave Releases.
  • In collaboration with the appropriate enabling teams, organize kick-off sessions, demos, and training programs for General Adoption Releases.
  • For Business Process Impacting Changes, engage relevant internal partners through workshops, executive sponsorship, and tailored roadmaps.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing learning related to Indigenous cultural safety and humility and supporting organizational actions towards addressing indigenous-specific racism in BC’s health care system.

Your education & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), including administration, configuration, feature rollouts, and change management; strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Power Platform) and their integration in enterprise environments.
  • Experience in creating release roadmaps, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing partner communications.
  • Certification in Microsoft 365 (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) is an asset.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as SysAid.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in creating clear, concise, user-friendly documentation, training materials, and release notes.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills with the ability to assess business impact and prioritize releases accordingly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to establish, build and maintain collaborative relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team.
  • An appreciation for and attention to offering high level of service with a strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Works outside of regular working hours on occasion to maintain/upgrade systems and associated infrastructure and at times in short notice, to restore services as required.
  • Knowledge of Canadian colonial impacts on Indigenous people in social and health contexts, including social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities and knowledge of Indigenous-specific anti-racism and accompanying reports (e.g. The Truth & Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action (2015), the In Plain Sight Report (2020), and Reclaiming Power and Place’s Calls for Justice (2019)) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated understanding of equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility as they apply to health care is an asset.

Job Description

Hands on D365 Delivery Manager will be an integral part of the JS Held ERP Team delivering projects and leading domestic and international users/customers on D365 F&O and CE for finance & accounting, project accounting, procurement, Time & Expense and CE sales modules. This highly skilled professional will help us lead & execute on all major ERP projects with activities such as requirements, design gaps, configuration, data migration, integration, UAT and training activities from other systems to D365. This individual will also work closely with Enhance (small new functionalities) & Support team providing technical level 4 guidance for Dynamics D365 F&O, and will work closely with finance & project controls team supporting their business processes

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own solution design of Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O across various finance & project accounting modules for a multinational organization
  • Manage & lead a small internal team on D365 related delivery projects
  • Function as a key contact internally and externally to advise on D365 technical designs and questions
  • Acts as liaison between the organization and application vendors as required for implementation, problem resolution, application upgrades and bug fixes
  • Lead and coach other project and support analysts on D365 design
  • Lead and assist with configurations, data migrations, and UAT workshops on D365 projects
  • Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and implement system improvements
  • Design configurable solutions wherever possible instead of customizations
  • Write, review, and approve FDDs created by other ERP analysts
  • Design and implement interfaces to other business applications
  • Apply system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of D365/AX
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies around Dynamics 365
  • Develop new functionality and integrations with other systems as required to support business growth
  • Collaborate with other functional and technical D365 ERP team members within the ERP Team and other groups within the IT Department
  • Assist with enhance and support activities, conducting user training, solving break-fixes, gathering requirements, unit and regression testing for sprint and project items
  • Provide business analysis and recommend best courses of action focusing on business processes first, technology second
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and end-user needs
  • Propose solutions to best meet the requirements of the organization
  • Work with end users to solve day-to-day business problems using the functionality of D365 MS Dynamics AX
  • Set up procedures and testing methods to ensure the ongoing accuracy of data maintained within all applications
  • Act as liaison between the organization and application vendors as required for implementation, problem resolution, application upgrades, and bug fixes
  • Provide support and training to the user community
Qualifications

  • Over 15 years of ERP support and implementation experience with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with configuring, designing, debugging, and testing Dynamics AX or D365 F&O for a global company
  • Broad D365 functionality expertise across Finance & Project Accounting modules
  • Extensive experience with localizations around VAT, Fixed assets and statutory reporting
  • Extensive experience migrating data from legacy systems into D365/AX
  • Extensive experience integrating third-party systems/ISVs with AX/D365
  • Strong knowledge of basic finance daily and month-end procedures and currency conversions
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and their flow in D365
  • Experience with Financial Reporter & PowerBI
  • Proficient with Excel and data skills
  • Experience troubleshooting within AX/D365 application
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven creative problem-solving ability and strategic thinking
  • Highly organized and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with different levels of internal customers
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Working knowledge of planning and execution of data conversion and integration processes as part of an AX/D365 deployment

Not Required, but a Plus:

  • MS Dynamics AX/D365 certifications
  • Experience supporting highly interfaced ERP environments
  • Knowledge of the professional services industry

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting/Financial, or other technical field
  • MS Dynamics AX/D365 certification is highly desirable

? Vos missions

Rôle :

  • Agit comme conseiller expert et comme référence lors de réalisation, implantation ou support de solutions relatives à la plateforme de collaboration Microsoft TEAMS Rooms au sein de l’équipe des services audiovisuels.
  • Réaliser les activités d’implantation de l’infrastructure technologique pour l’exploitation et l’opération conformément au design de l’architecture technologique et audiovisuelle, en plus de collaborer à la rédaction ou de rédiger les différents livrables en lien avec les besoins exprimés.

Activités :

  • Assurer le maintien quotidien des environnements TEAMS Rooms en place chez le client;
  • Répondre aux besoins ad hoc du personnel technique en matière d’installation et de configuration de TEAMS Rooms;
  • Réaliser toute la documentation pertinente, propre à son domaine d’expertise, selon les normes et standards du client;
  • Participer à la validation de certains livrables en matière technologique associés à la plateforme TEAMS Rooms;
  • Participer au support applicatif, en particulier pour la plateforme TEAMS Rooms et ses logiciels associés;
  • Participer à l’implantation de nouvelles solutions de collaboration basées sur TEAMS Rooms;
  • Participer aux rencontres de suivi d’équipes, suivi de projets ou de réalisation et faire part des niveaux d'avancement, des solutions et/ou de problèmes pouvant compromettre les échéanciers ou la réalisation du projet;
  • Assurer le respect des échéanciers des mandats à sa charge;
  • Soutenir les équipes d’opérations et de projets dans le cadre de la préparation et la coordination des plans de travail pour l'exécution des travaux requis.

? Votre profil

  • Posséder un diplôme universitaire de premier cycle en informatique ou son équivalent.
  • Posséder cinq (5) ans d’expérience en technologie de l'information.
  • Posséder trois (3) ans d’expérience en audiovisuel, et ce, au sein d’une organisation ayant au moins une dizaine de points de service.
  • Posséder la certification de spécialiste Microsoft TEAMS Rooms ou démontrer que le client a réalisé au moins deux (2) mandats de déploiement (réalisation) ou de soutien associé à la mise en place et/ou l’évolution de solutions TEAMS Rooms. Les mandats présentés devront minimalement être d’une durée d’au moins une année.
  • Posséder deux (2) années d'expérience en déploiement d’infrastructure TEAMS Rooms.
  • Posséder deux (2) années d'expérience en support technique du produit Microsoft TEAMS.
