Job Description
S.i. Systems, a privately owned Canadian company specializing in sales, distribution, shipping, and manufacturing, is seeking a Vice President of Technology. The role involves defining enterprise architecture, leading ERP replacement, and aligning technology strategies with the company's growth objectives.
Compensation: Targeting $, - $, / annum
Work Arrangement: Mostly REMOTE
Preferred candidate location: Greater Toronto Area, ON or Montreal, PQ
Travel: Every 2 months for 1 week, domestic or international
Critical Competencies Required:
- Business Acumen
- Change Management: Ability to navigate a "sales-first" culture
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to work with strong personalities
- Strategic Planning: Balancing immediate fixes with long-term vision
- Vendor Management: Experience negotiating and managing enterprise software contracts
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- 3-10 years in an IT leadership role
- ERP Migration: Led at least one major ERP transformation
- Integration Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns
- Modern Architecture: Cloud-first, API-driven approach; experience migrating from on-premises to hybrid/cloud
- Data Strategy: Experience with MDM and data governance
- Successful integration of CRM and ERP systems
- Experience managing technology in rental/inventory-based businesses (preferred)
- Led teams through digital transformation
