Develop detailed electrical installation drawings, in Revit, based on engineering drawings, project specifications, construction design plan instructions, rough notes, and rough sketches to ensure the best installation outcome.
Develop installation drawings for a wide range of electrical building systems such as power distribution, branch power and lighting, fire alarm, security, communications and other specialty systems.
Interact and collaborate with the project team to develop drawings efficiently and accurately while maintaining any time and schedule constraints.
Develop drawings showing the necessary details and assemblies of a wide variety of electrical equipment with details such as dimensions, fastening methods, slab coordinates and other required information.
Model and coordinate electrical infrastructure e.g. cabletrays, sleeving, electrical equipment, etc. Navigate through and interpret structural, architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings for various occupancy types and spaces.
Perform technical calculations including and not limited to voltage drop, conduit fill.
Review design drawings and provide feedback to ensure requirements are met.
Understand and comply with the project schedule to submit deliverables and implement changes and revisions as required.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of electrical systems from both the design and installation perspectives including: power distribution, branch power and lighting, fire safety, security and communications systems.
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk products including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC platform.
An understanding of the uses of drawing levels, references files, various CAD tools, scaling, dimensioning and cross-sectional interpolations

POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to oversee the clubs, societies and indigenous student circles program, known collectively as student networks and create lasting partnerships within the Durham College community and the Region. This role will also work closely with other staff at DCSA to help host events throughout the year for students on all campuses.

The position will be responsible for growing the student networks program and ensuring that there are numerous active networks to support a diverse student life at Durham College. This position will also work to promote engagement in DCSA elections and develop strategies to deepen student engagement with the DCSA.


Requirements

Student Networks

  • Manages the development and delivery of the DCSA Clubs in line with overall organizational priorities of DCSA.
  • Continue the launch of the new DCSA Clubs program with the aim of increasing the range of student groups events and activities.
  • Research and recommend changes, and proactively work to encourage new Clubs to be set up.
  • Work with student leaders to ensure the sustainability of networks over successive academic years
  • Approve events and budget for DCSA Clubs.
  • Develops and oversees the use of the DCSA clubs website, ensuring all information and resources available are up-to-date, transparent, ethical, and in line with policies.
  • They are promoting outcomes and activities of student clubs that allow students to translate their experience into employability credentials.
  • General administration duties, tracking and reporting

Campus Engagement

  • Together with the Secretary of the Board, organize advertisement and publication of engagement for governance events, including the annual elections and the annual general meetings.
  • Coordinate activities to further the engagement of students and actively seek out connections with members with a view to foster an engaged student community.
  • Work with Academic Departments to develop and deepen representation of each faculty and their respective Student Voice
  • Lead the DCSA Whitby Campus engagement program for enhanced student experience on the Whitby Campus, including ensuring solid student networks for the Whitby Campus and awareness of all DCSA services
  • Act as a liaison with the Student Development department regarding the activities of the Institute of Student Leadership and other co-curricular activities at Durham College.


Community Engagement

  • Create solid community engagement opportunities within the Durham College community.
  • Research additional opportunities for student engagement within the Durham Region.
  • Ensure that DCSA Leadership is aware of any major communities' issues within the Durham Region, and work with DCSA Leadership to address any community issues that are relevant to students.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Events, or Volunteer Coordination, or have equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience of working in a similar environment, with events, management, community engagement and volunteers.
  • Solid understanding of a student environment and voluntary sector.
  • Experience in working with and supporting staff, volunteers, with recognition events and training.

**Overview of The Role:**

**You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:**

- College diploma in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of equivalent work experience in a network position
- Certifications: Relevant network and security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CISSP) are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Network Analyst, network Administrator or similar role, with a focus on microsegmentation or with traffic flow analysis and understanding
- Experience with microsegmentation tools and concepts (e.g. Illumio, Guardicore, VMware NSX, etc.).

**Salary range: $66,960 - $87,890**

Your Career

You will join an exciting and high growth business unit with Palo Alto Networks positioning the industry’s most comprehensive SASE security platform, with the industry’s broadest security and compliance coverage for applications used by your hybrid workforce, regardless of whether they are at home, on the go, or in the office.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a territory focusing on Major, Strategic, and Enterprise Accounts. Working closely with Palo Alto business partners and driving sales for our Enterprise Browser security solution, into new and existing customers. It is expected that you deliver or exceed your sales targets in both new business and renewals for ACV and TCV bookings. The role expects you to define your territory, strategies and then lead local execution and in alignment to company strategies and tactics within the Prisma SASE organization. 

Your Impact

  • Win new logos, renew existing customer and expand business within your territory
  • Achieve ACV sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Present regular/accurate forecasting for review
  • Track and report on all opportunities, pipeline, and bookings to provide forecast reports to region management
  • Establish relationships and engage with the local reseller and alliance partners on sales programs and joint activities
  • Develop, share and implement standard methodologies and account strategies to increase our sales penetration of Enterprise Browser into our top accounts
  • Engage with customers to identify and progress opportunities whilst delivering subject matter expertise on Enterprise Browser solutions
  • Qualify and progress leads and opportunities through the sales cycle to closure
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of Enterprise Browser and other browser technologies as well as the competitive position of the company
  • Conduct consistent training and communications for the sales and channel teams as well as joint engagement within the wider organization
  • Contribute to the larger Palo Alto Network’s Prisma SASE strategy by providing regional specific intelligence and reporting
  • Apply subject matter expertise in training, QBRs, enablement, and other engagement activities
  • Gather “Voice of Customer” and competitive intelligence and share with theater and global Prisma SASE organization
  • Help build and project Palo Alto Networks position
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 4+ years' experience exceeding sales quota as Account Manager, or Territory Account Manager for a multinational company
  • Sales excellence - ability to demonstrate planning, strategy, qualification and execution
  • Prior experience selling SAAS or Cybersecurity network solutions
  • Existing relationships within the region, including top accounts and reseller partners
  • Excellent communication skills including strong verbal and written skills and proven presentation skills being able to articulate complex topics
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $256000 - $352000/YR.
