ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS :

The functions of the position usually performed sitting but may require some amount of time standing. Roles and Responsibilities
You will be expected to contribute to the design development of projects and the production of drawings in an accurate and timely manner. What Youll Be Doing:

William Osler’s partnership with the New Graduate Guarantee will offer you the opportunity to work in a clinical unit as a part of the nursing team according to the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and William Osler Health System. Working with a preceptor, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement nursing care plans for your patients and their families, report on patient progress and work collaboratively with the healthcare team. The knowledge and skills you have obtained and practiced during your clinical experiences as a student will be applied to your practice as a New Graduate Nurse to support the delivery of excellence in patient-focused care, at William Osler Health System.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario, if temporary license, candidate will be asked to provide date of NCLEX
  • Consolidation on Acute Medicine/Surgical Units
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills required
  • Ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required
  • Ability to set priorities
  • Critical thinking and organizational skills required
