The Opportunity

This position requires an understanding of various web technologies, enterprise secure development and risk management. In addition, it requires experience with application security assessments/testing, as well as demonstrated competencies in problem solving, client service, written/verbal communication, and project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth penetration testing and secure code review assessments on web applications
- Dynamically exploit vulnerabilities found in codebase and correlate insecure coding practices into dynamic application vulnerabilities

- Exceptional familiarity in all Burp Suite functions. Published Burp extensions and ability to create new Burp Suite extensions preferred
- Detailed understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25 issues with focus on ability to identify and remediate vulnerability in source code
- Ability to explain risk and business impact of security vulnerabilities to variety of audience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:

Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia's pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.

Requirements

My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new full time Senior iOS Developer opportunity available for a major firm located in Toronto, Canada that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below. The work schedule will be hybrid, four days a week in the office and one day remote.
This position will be paying a competitive fulltime salary of $115,000 - $120,000 plus an outstanding benefits package.
Synopsis of this role:
The firm’s digital team is innovative and rapidly growing. They are seeking experienced iOS Developers who are passionate about technology and bring a depth of mobile application development experience.
Responsibilities:
You will be a key contributor to iOS development efforts on one of our mobile squads working on their Mobile iOS app. This will include Feature development in Swift to expand the functionality of the firm’s mobile application
Ensuring that proper design and architectural patterns are being used to allow the app to scale effectively
Participating in code reviews to ensure quality of code delivered by the team
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product owners, testers, user-experience, security, and fraud
Continuously improving the app, finding ways to simplify and refactor code
Qualifications:
Five plus years of experience developing for iOS including Swift and Objective-C experience is a nice to have for this role
Experience with UI development in both Swift UI and UI Kit
A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, MVC, MVVM and the iOS application architecture
Experience with iOS unit testing frameworks and writing code designed for tests
Experience with development and source control tools (Xcode, git, etc.)
Understanding of IT Standards, UX Design, Accessibility, Agile Methodologies
Pluses:
