Job Summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Nurse Call & RTLS Technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing multiple healthcare technologies including but not limited to RTLS and nurse call systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and inspect RTLS and nurse call systems
- Diagnosing and Troubleshoot issues with the network electronic systems and software
- Commission front-end workstations & servers
- Diagnosing and Troubleshoot issues with the network electronic systems and software
- Ability to troubleshoot existing installations or utilize as-built drawings and documentation where available to correct deficiencies and repair systems without supervision
- Provide onsite validation and testing of RTLS and nurse call systems
- Ensure customer requests and status are followed up on time and in a professional way
- Perform all assigned preventative maintenance, repair and emergency service calls
- Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the company’s team of managers, engineers, and technicians; the client; and consulting engineers
- Effectively communicate and maintain project status with Management, Contractors, and Customers
Qualifications:
- Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent job related knowledge
- Must have a minimum 2-5 years related experience in RTLS and nurse call systems
- Must be computer literate, have networking ability and a good knowledge of operating systems
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- System integration and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in system integration, network topology and Virtual Environment.
- Experience with Information Communication Technology design in the health care environment.
- Experience in delivering RTLS and nurse call solutions
- Technical writing skills to support documentation of problem resolution / solution improvement
- Knowledge of technology deployed in the Health Care environment.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred

HVAC Service Manager, you will be working with our contractors during installs, start-ups, and helping services run smoothly from day one. Youll provide expert support in the field and over the phone, troubleshoot technical issues, and get hands-on with industry-leading products.
This role is not an on-call position - regular working hours are on-site between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
What You'll Be Doing
- Be the expert voice for customers on the ODell product lineup
- Startup and commission new systems alongside contractors, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely
- Offer virtual or phone support to installers and technicians for assistance with wiring, piping, programming, and general troubleshooting
- Collaborate with our Sales team to assist with product layout and integration across a wide range of products
- Connect with our manufacturers to obtain technical information and support materials
- Attend customer sites to provide hands-on support during installs, commissioning, troubleshooting, and additional responsibilities as required
- Assist with processing warranty claims by working closely with contractors and our internal team to keep the process moving in a timely manner
- Travel to manufacturer facilities for in-depth product training as required

What You Are
- Licensed 313A Refrigeration Mechanic and G1 Gas Technician
- Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades
- Hold a valid G-class drivers license in good standing and clean driver's abstract
- Willing and able to travel within our service territories (territory dependent on location of hire)
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience with commercial and industrial HVAC service
- A solid understanding of computers and Microsoft Office, including openness to learning computers and electronics are a large part of how we support modern HVAC systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Detail-oriented and reliable, following through on deadlines and commitments to customers
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to lend a hand to team members
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, which include:
- Lifting up to 50lbs

Reporting to the Business Centre's Manager, the **Service Technician** is responsible for completing a variety of required services and customer support both in house as well as in a mobile capacity, on safety related equipment. Duties may include: SCBA and gas detection certification service and repairs, regular maintenance service and recertification of breathing air compressor systems, Quantitative Fit testing, Inspection/certification of fall arrest equipment.

- In accordance with preventative maintenance contracts, the technician inspects, lubricates, and checks wax and detergent levels as applicable
- Run equipment through 'cycles' to ensure the complete system is functioning properly
- Advises customers of necessary service work and make recommendations to customers regarding replacement of worn or damaged parts, systems, etc.
- Following unit installation, inspects equipment to ensure proper function
- Provide information and training to customers regarding proper operation and general maintenance of equipment
- Develop and maintain good rapport with customers, constantly striving to provide outstanding service and ensure customer satisfaction

- Complete work orders, expense reports, and daily/weekly time logs

- Utilize OEM specified diagnostic procedures to diagnose and repair defects on chassis and drivetrain systems in a timely manner
- Perform diagnostic road tests
- Accurately communicate diagnostics and repair plans with supervisor
- Remain accountable to the Service Manager and Shop Foreman for all work performed
- Tag warranty parts and customer parts as required
- Journeyman Technicians to provide training and leadership for Registered Apprentices
- Participate in all training programs made available through Peterbilt and outside vendors
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school
- Completion of a four-year Truck and Transport Technician Apprenticeship
- 4+ years of work experience
- Red Seal Trade Certification
- Valid inspection ticket to perform commercial vehicle inspections is an asset
- Valid class 1 OR 3 Driver’s License with airbrake endorsement is an asset
- Superior mechanical aptitude with an in-depth knowledge of heavy duty truck repairs
- Strong computer skills
- Detail oriented
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment
Compensation Rate
- $46.05 - $51.17 per hour, plus premiums for specific certifications
- Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
