Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Manager of Organizational Change Management (OCM) to lead the change function across a portfolio of global technology transformation initiatives. As a trusted partner to IT and Business stakeholders, you will lead a team responsible for developing and executing change strategies that drive user adoption, support stakeholder engagement, and ensure business readiness. You will build the foundation of our internal change capability by embedding structured change methodologies and practices and aligning stakeholders across functions and regions. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of people, process, and technology in a fast-evolving, multinational environment.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop and lead the global OCM strategy aligned to enterprise technology initiatives.

  • Facilitate leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement around key enterprise-wide digital transformations and other initiatives within the I&T department.

  • Lead and mentor a team of change professionals and oversee the work of external consultants and partners, ensuring coordinated, high-quality deliverables.

  • Establish a fit-for-purpose BRP change management framework based on industry-leading methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR) and embed it into delivery practices (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe), acting as a key contributor to the PMO 2.0 at BRP.

  • Leverage and improve BRP Change methodology by developing and institutionalizing reusable OCM templates, playbooks, and tools to scale efforts across programs.

  • Advise executives and sponsors on change risks, stakeholder alignment, and user adoption strategies.

  • Oversee integrated change plans across communications, training, engagement, and readiness activities.

  • Measure and report on change adoption and organizational readiness across programs.

  • Help cultivate a culture of agility, digital fluency, and change resilience within the I&T department and global workforce.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in Business, IT, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in change management, with a focus on technology-driven transformation.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in organizational change management roles, preferably within a structured project environment.
- Proven experience supporting large, complex projects, including multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- PROSCI, SAFe Agilist, PMP or CAPM certification is a plus (but not required).

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • You must be local to Calgary and surrounding area – and be willing to work in a hybrid environment with a combo of remote and on client site.

ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Organizational Change Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and implementing successful change management initiatives within complex organizations. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of an organization.

Change Management Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.
  • Develop comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Develop and execute communication plans to effectively convey the vision, goals, and progress of change initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather input and feedback from stakeholders.

Implementation and Execution:

  • Lead the execution on change management plans, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  • Develop training and development programs to equip employees with the skills needed to adapt to change.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients to sustain change and drive continuous improvement.

Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in change management and share knowledge with the team.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients to enhance change management capabilities.
  • Create customized training materials and resources to address specific organizational needs and ensure successful knowledge transfer.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field or combination of education and experience
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an asset
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or other recognized certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in organizational change management , preferably within a consulting, utilities, IT, Banking, or in a HR environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (understanding the roles and responsibilities of various team members). Any formal SCRUM or AGILE certifications will be considered an asset
  • Experience working with diverse industries and understanding of different business models.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
