**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Sales Rep role is an integral part of the Sales and Distribution team, working closely with Engineering, Production, and Marketing to support project success. This position acts as the main liaison between the company and its customers, ensuring their requirements are understood and met at every stage of the project. From reviewing technical drawings to coordinating pricing, production, and delivery, this role focuses on providing practical, cost-effective solutions. A strong emphasis is placed on clear communication, fast response times, and smooth coordination to deliver a positive customer experience from start to finish.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Promptly generate quotes based on customer product lists or plans, applying approved pricing, discounts, and strategies.
+ Maintain accurate job tracking, including quotes, contractors, suppliers, budgets, start dates, and follow-ups.
+ Provide Sales Management with pricing feedback and actively engage in pricing and strategy discussions to support market share and sales goals.
+ Communicate with customers on purchase orders, project details, pricing, alternatives, and opportunities aligned with company objectives.
+ Monitor bid sites (Merx, BC Bid), track tender results, and prepare quarterly reports on major projects for Sales Manager review.
+ Collaborate internally to identify custom product requirements and guide resources toward cost-effective solutions
+ Enter quotes and orders, ensuring Engineering, Production, and Sales teams receive accurate, timely information.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
**Education:** Post Secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Field of Study Preferred:** Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
**Required Work Experience:** Minimum three (3) years' of commercial experience (business development, marketing, sales) preferred.
Construction materials experience, specifically in concrete products.
**Required Training/Certifications:** Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to customer sites and industry events. Safety training certifications (e.g., WHMIS, site safety orientation) considered an asset.
**Required Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Salesforce CRM system,ERP systems, and Google Suite.

**Additional Requirements:**
+ Strong financial and analytical skills to support pricing, contract negotiation, and business case development.
+ Proven sales and account management experience in the construction materials industry, ideally in pipe, precast, or related building products.Strong understanding of civil construction, infrastructure projects, and underground materials applications.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
+ Consistent, reliable attendance is required in order to successfully perform and complete. excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with customers, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
+ Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
