The Outbound Sales Development Representative generates qualified and engaged leads for net2phone Canada. Researching, prospecting and qualifying contacts for our sales team.

What you'll do.
As a Outbound Sales Development Representative, your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Researching, prospecting and qualifying leads in various verticals and geographic locations across Canada
- Contact prospects through outbound phone calls
- Enthusiastically working on outbound activities, representing the company in a highly professional manner
- Successfully and accurately answering prospect questions and providing appropriate additional information to the Account Executives
- Achieving defined productivity goals
- Working closely with the SDR Manager in order to build campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
- Reporting to the SDR Manager, the Sales Development Representative works closely with not only the SDR team but the sales and marketing departments as well.
What you need to be a Outbound Sales Development Representative with us.
- Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking).
- 1+ year in retail/hospitality/software sales ideally.
- Post Secondary Education.
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM is ideal. Intermediate computer skills desired. Someone that can navigate through multiple apps/platforms with ease.
- Energetic, outgoing, charismatic, not afraid to overcome objections.
- Someone who can have a casual business conversation and convince prospects to attend a platform overview demo.
- This is a highly repetitive position, so it is important that selected candidates can follow a tailored talk track and make 85-95 calls daily.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

What will you do?

A minimum of 2 years of verifiable sales experience is required. Please note that general retail roles (e.g., working at big box retailers, or similar) that do not include commission-based selling or performance targets are not considered qualifying sales experience for this position.
Formal training in a recognized sales methodology (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales etc.) is considered a strong asset.
Telecommunications experience is preferred but not required.
Work-related Skills:Proficient in navigating multiple CRM and business systems simultaneously.
Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
Applies proven sales and retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
Experienced in B2B telecommunications sales
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage a structured sales process in a fast-paced environment
