This includes, but is not limited to suggesting appropriate additional products, stocking merchandise, processing returns and exchanges quickly, calling all customers when their special order has arrived and counting their cash drawer before and after each shift.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greeting all customers within a 5-foot distance in a friendly manner in accordance with the FVBS greeting policy
- Always be ready to provide prompt service to our customers
- Assist all customers in finding products and offering product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience
- Anticipate the customer’s project and suggest additional products to meet customer’s needs using the GQRC, customer service standard (**G**reet, **Q**ualify-ask open ended questions about their project, **R**ecommend-recommend main and add-on products based on their project, **C**lose-close the interaction by ensuring they don’t need anything else and thanking them)
- Look up products and prices for customers on both EAGLE and RONA website including special orders and regular products
- Create special orders and order products for customers as required
- Facing and minor replenishment of stock including cleaning shelves in preparation of new stock arrival as requested
- Labeling product and changing labels when price changes occur as requested
- Be proactively aware of all promotions and product availability
- Ensuring always in compliance with WorkSafe Standards
- Completing opening and closing duties
**Qualifications**
- Prior customer service experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn about products
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Detail orientated and strong attention to following safe work practices
- Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:
- Previous retail paint sale a MUST!

- Ability to lift some heavier paint products (up to a 5o Lbs )

**Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:**
