**Key responsibilities;**
+ Welcoming clients and patients in a warm, professional manner
+ Managing check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling in our in-house schedule system; training provided
+ Handling incoming calls through our multiline system
+ Prioritize emails and client inquiries efficiently
+ Coordinating communication between medical teams, specialty services and the referring community
+ Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth administrative flow for standard operating procedures
+ Supporting the team in delivering exceptional emergency and specialty care to our clients and patients
**Qualifications;**
+ 2+ years of experience as a receptionist or front desk in human or veterinary medicine.
+ A professional and calm demeanour when assisting clients with questions, requests, or sensitive information
+ Experienced with booking medical appointments and locating schedules within the system for: rebooking patients, booking new appointments and urgent appointments
+ Strong knowledge of electronic medical records; training is provided for our in-house system
+ Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and Adobe)
+ Previous knowledge of Moneris POS terminals is an asset
+ Strong attention to detail & accuracy when recording and relaying information

**Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre** is welcoming a full-time **Veterinary Technologist, RVT** , to join our team in the **Oncology** department. This is a 1 year contract position.
+ RVT's with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a tech in a small animal or mixed animal practice.
+ Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.

**RVT, Oncology, Contract Position**
**Location: Calgary, AB**
**Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre** is welcoming a full-time **Veterinary Technologist, RVT** , to join our team in the **Oncology** department. This is a 1 year contract position.
+ RVT's with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a tech in a small animal or mixed animal practice.
+ Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
+ Sedation/anesthetic monitoring, and patient recovery.
+ Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
+ Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their families.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
