Responsibilities

Drive improvements through employee training and development, performance management, strategic planning, design of task and conceptual thinking regarding best practices
Align the goals and objectives of the department with that of the company; financial, service, cost reduction, maintaining efficiency and inventory management.
Establish a culture of high motivation, teamwork, good performance and compliance through periodic review
Assist with various inventory control duties including cycle count and inventory shrink/write off discrepancy research
Qualifications
Knowledge and use of equipment such as Power Cart, Pallet Jack, RF scanner
Computer proficiency in MS Office, analysis, data and generate reports
Maintain proficient knowledge of product
Maintain proficient knowledge of systems and procedures
Ability to motivate and multi-task
Proficient knowledge of professional English verbal and written communication
High School diploma
Prefer 3 to 5 yearsu2019 experience in furniture retail or warehouse logistics
Excellent writing and analytical skills
Logistics organization and analysis
Experience with emphasis on customer relations, staffing, organizing, motivating, supervising, communicating and negotiating

**Responsibilities**
+ Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow-up on outstanding items
+ Required to accept deliveries of goods into the company and verify deliveries with attached shipping manifests, bills of lading or purchase orders
+ Wrap, package or crate goods for shipment and ensure completion and attachment of addressee information, packing slip(s), shipping manifests and or bill of lading. Record shipping activities and arranges for appropriate carrier or courier pick-up
+ Adhere to all guidelines relative to company policies and customers' requirements, applicable national and international government regulations such as transportation, transportation of dangerous goods, import/export, customs and environment health and safety
+ Support the development, implementation, and adoption of streamlined processes in support of existing document control and quality management procedures
+ Support the training and development activities of team members

+ Intermediate knowledge and use of a PC based computer system with experience on software applications such as WORD, EXCEL, and Outlook
+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with effective time management
+ Strong communication (verbal and written) and customer service (internal and external) skills
+ Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of tasks with a high level of organization and accuracy
+ Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
+ Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP or Oracle) would be an asset

Summary
Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
Essential Functions
- Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
- Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
- Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
Additional Responsibilities
- Candidate must have basic level knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to site.
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Some locations may require a Motor Vehicles Records (MVR) check as a part of the background screening process to drive a company vehicle as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

This position primarily involves working in the clean room area of the production floor. The role requires handling products after they are processed on CNC machines, receiving finished pallets and skids, and placing parts into racks. The successful candidate will utilize Excel and Epicor warehouse management software to digitally update production movements.
Responsibilities
Move products from the wash area to designated storage.
Drive the reach truck 50% of the time to store boxes and skids.
Communicate with the afternoon shift supervisor to coordinate material movements.
Check the production schedule and liaise with shippers.
Utilize Excel and Epicor to update production digitally.

Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience with reach and counterbalance.

External Reach and Counterbalance license.
