Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Maintenance Leadership

- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 4–5+ years of experience in a Plant Engineer or Production Engineering Manager role within food manufacturing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced with automated equipment and high-speed packaging systems.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, modifying, and customizing manufacturing machinery is essential.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Experience supporting or leading capital equipment projects.
- Visionary yet practical – able to think long-term while addressing immediate challenges.

Purpose of the Role:
As the Senior Plant Process Engineer, you will develop, design, commission, test, and optimize carbon capture gas processing plants for a range of industrial applications. You will support early-stage technical discussions with potential customers, working closely with the Business Development and Sales teams to bring customer priorities and concernsboth technical and commercialinto Svante.
You will play a key role in scaling up our novel solid adsorption gas separation process from pilot to full commercial CO capture plants. Your deep understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mass transport phenomena will be essential.
You will also be responsible for delivering all basic process engineering components of Svantes licensing technology package, including block flow and process flow diagrams (PFDs), heat and material balances, P&IDs, utility flow diagrams, equipment specifications and sizing, general plant layout, and capital/operational cost estimates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- You bring 10+ years of experience in chemical process development, design, and operations.
- You have a degree in Chemical Engineering and a strong technical background in gas processing, steam systems, and carbon capture technologies.
- You have experience with solvent-based CO capture, gas separation, or gas power plants.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools and process simulation software like HYSYS and Aspen.
- You have hands-on experience in gas plant construction, commissioning, and project engineering.
- You have a demonstrated history of prioritizing safety, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safety-first culture.

Maintenance Technician - Food MfgShift: 8 to 12 hours rotationalWe are seeking a mechanically skilled individual who can work on maintaining plant systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues which may arise during production, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
