What you’ll do.
- Provide ad-hoc and recurring data analysis to support consulting workstreams and client projects
Clean, transform, and validate data sets to ensure accuracy and usability for analysis and reporting
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations (primarily in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools) to track performance and highlight key insights - Develop and maintain custom tools and applications using Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros) and Microsoft Power Apps
- Collaborate with operations consultants to translate project requirements into data-driven outputs that support process and performance improvement initiatives
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze structured data from client systems
- Document methodologies, maintain version control of tools, and ensure data analysis follows best practices and standards
- Diagnose issues in existing reports, dashboards, or tools and implement improvements to increase usability and reliability
- Participate in workshops, testing sessions, and project reviews to ensure solutions meet client and consulting team needs
What you bring to the role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas)
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar visualization platforms
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases for querying and data manipulation
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Apps or other low-code/no-code application development tools is an asset
- Strong data management and cleaning skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to synthesize large, complex data sets into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple requests, and adapting to changing project priorities
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to support consultants and client teams

**Team/Role Overview**
The Strategy & Solutions Delivery Program Management team is a group of professional Program and Process Managers within HR Workforce Intelligence Talent Acquisition division, Strategy Solutions Delivery team. **What you'll do**

+ Oversee work planning and execution readiness, ensuring alignment between design intent and construction methodology.
+ Manage and mentor a small team of coordinators and analysts

+ Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, resource plans, and performance baselines.
+ Support procurement strategy, subcontractor selection, and contract negotiations.

**Qualifications**
+ Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
+ Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure construction, with at least 3-5 years in project controls or project coordination leadership.
+ Hands-on field experience working on large-scale civil or transit projects (e.g., LRT, metro, highways) is required.
+ Proficiency in project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, cost management systems, risk analysis software).
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Experience with Alliance contracts or collaborative delivery frameworks is a strong asset.

- Analysing data and providing feedback to the relevant IPT team members on non-conformance with contract requirements, trends and outliers.
- Contributing to the development of digital dashboards through definition of dashboard output specs, utilizing PowerBI and championing the use of digital dashboards in the team
- Supporting the data needs for key meetings of the team and the program, including but not limited to control boards, and Ontario Line 3 levels of control related meetings
- Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and data management
- Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Engineering, construction, business or finance degrees is desirable. Construction, project management or project controls related qualifications is desirable. 5 - 7 years relevant experience.
- Fluent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI and Microsoft Forms.
- Previously held position(s) with responsibility for planning, estimating, cost control, data analysis or reporting on infrastructure projects of similar scope, size and complexity to an urban metro project.
- A general understanding of engineering and construction procedures, principles, and concepts.
- Experience working with teams and stakeholders in the development and delivery of large infrastructure projects. Ability to communicate across different technical disciplines (e.g. engineering, construction, testing & commissioning).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

WSP is currently seeking an experienced **Senior Project Controller or Senior Cost Analyst (Nuclear)** to join one of Ontario offices. This position will likely require travel within the GTA and surrounding areas, Tiverton, Pickering areas on a regular basis.
The Senior Project Controller/Cost Analyst will support a new nuclear build, a major regulatory infrastructure program.
