Duties:

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors press machinery and equipment
• Completes press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Monitors production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas met.
• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic team. This role requires an individual who can confidently operate machinery, conduct maintenance, and collaborate with engineers and team leaders to ensure efficient and safe production.
**Work Environment**
Work in a large, clean shop with numerous machines in operation. The afternoon shift runs from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with a $2.50 premium for this shift. The facility houses 50 to 60 employees, including 12 mechanic welders, 5 equipment specialists, an electrician, a plumber, a shipper, and 3 general laborers.
**Responsibilities**
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards.
Collaborate with profile engineers and team leaders to identify and resolve issues.
Conduct scheduled machine maintenance and cleaning.
Load and off-load stainless and mild steel components using overhead cranes and forklifts.
Operate machinery with confidence and precision.
Understand machine setup, including program retrieval and materials handling.
Monitor operations and perform quality checks, making necessary adjustments.
Troubleshoot machinery during operations.
Operate overhead cranes, tape measures, calipers, and hand tools.
Assist in other departments or perform additional duties as required.
**Essential Skills**
Proficiency in press brake and machine operation.
Experience with punch press and sheet metal.

We are looking for a detail oriented FLEXO LABEL PRESS OPERATOR. Someone who is able to run a press, check colors and match ink dyes with minimal to no errors.

duties include:

•ensuring proper ink distribution, registration, and overall print quality, color match

•Conduct thorough inspections of printing plates, cylinders, and other press components before and during production runs to identify and address potential issues.

•Collaborate with the prepress team to ensure accurate and timely plate mounting and job setups.
