The Opportunity:

As part of our Yield Management Team, the Pricing Analyst is responsible for pricing all ongoing shipping opportunities, in-depth profitability analysis, liaising with Operations and Sales for solutions and managing deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment.
 

Key Accountabilities:
  • Pricing : Develop sustainable rates in a timely fashion that are both consistent with our corporate goals and meet our operational needs.
  • Analysis : Utilizing In-house software for lane analysis for past loads and creating mini-action plans to improve profitability on a lane-by-lane basis.
  • Project Management : Coordinate the responses to bids/tenders to ensure all departments have provided the required information so that deadlines are met.
  • Liaising : Work very closely with the National Sales team and customers in developing opportunities for additional business.
  • Communication : Ongoing, active and frequent interaction with Operations and Logistics to ensure opportunities are strategically addressed and solutions are presented to best fit collective requirements and capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting : Work with Invoicing and Accounts Receivable to support any requirements they may have with respect to rates and billing.
  • Tariff Management: Update and maintain our Tariff management software as well as implement new pricing into our Transportation Management System.
  • Performs other duties as required.
What You Need To Be Successful In This Role:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Transportation experience / knowledge preferred.
  • Possesses a good working knowledge of North American geography.
  • Advanced computer skills with spreadsheets and data.
  • Strong interpersonal, people management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Time management skills; ability to prioritize and comfortable handling competing priorities.
  • Able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and work effectively with multiple departments, while also working independently at times to solve problems with ambiguous solutions.

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our FP&A team. The Pricing Analyst will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and support the analysis of business performance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and maintain the pricing repository within the ERP system to ensure a single source of truth. This includes overseeing data accuracy and consistency, ensuring on-time uploads of pricing changes, and working closely with the Sales team to identify and resolve any pricing discrepancies with our retail partners. The goal is to eliminate internal confusion and prevent miscommunication with external stakeholders.
  • Validate proposed pricing from the Sales team to ensure it meets or exceeds Storkcrafts internal margin expectations, while also aligning with individual retailer margin requirements and market positioning.
  • Support the development and evaluation of pricing for new products, existing SKUs, and any changes driven by freight, tariff, or cost fluctuations.
  • Collaborate on the calculation of promotional pricing and related margin impacts, ensuring they support strategic sales goals without compromising profitability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance pricing processes, tools, and methodologies for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary contact for pricing data and analysis, working cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate updates of pricing information.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models and reports to deliver clear insights into pricing performance, profitability, and competitive trends.
  • Conduct landed cost and net margin analyses to support data-driven pricing decisions and maximize gross profit.
  • Analyze internal cost structures, competitive pricing, and market dynamics to make well-informed pricing recommendations.

What you’re responsible for:

As a pricing analyst, you will act as a key player in the development, implementation and monitoring of pricing strategies. Visiting sites to gain firsthand insight into operations and local market realities, ensuring pricing strategies are grounded in day-to-day business needs. You’re comfortable shifting between data analysis and operational collaboration, and you understand that impactful pricing strategies start with a deep understanding of what's happening on the ground.

  • Monitoring and documenting market and price developments by region on a daily basis.
  • Supporting sites in communicating new pricing strategies and other business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Assist Rates team with Spot Quotes.
  • Maintaining all tariff agreements and terms & conditions.

The Market Access and Pricing Analyst works as an analytic and strategic partner to the Market Access Team to enable early and broad access to highly innovative therapies. This is achieved by being a network support for the Market Access Team, leading various projects such as preparing landscape assessments and submission documents and performing analytics to inform decision-making. The Market Access and Pricing Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Market Access by leading contract, invoicing and reporting activities as well as liaising with all public and private drug plans.



Responsibilities:

• Lead Market Access daily operations and assist Market Access Team in strategic market access planning

• Contribute to submission documents as part of HTA, provincial, national, or third-party payer submissions

• Prepare landscape assessments and monitor reimbursement decisions for key products and therapeutic areas of interest to Medison

• Support RFP review, vendor selection and contracting process as needed

• Maintain Global Market Access tracker and respond to requests from Global organization

• Collect, analyze and report on pricing data including liaising with Medison partner organisations to anticipate pricing changes

• Responsible to complete PMPRB reporting and aid in resolving investigations

• Plan for expected Product Listing Agreements (PLAs) and timelines associated with all provinces

• Provide analytic and logistic support for PLA negotiations

• Responsible to monitor PLA payments and validate invoices received from drug plans prior to payment

• Ensure PLAs are maintained in the PLA database and provide ongoing monitoring of the database including PLA expiry



Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Science or Business Administration

• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred

• 3+ years work experience and thorough knowledge of the Canadian reimbursement landscape

• Strong analytical experience, written and verbal communication, teamwork

• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
