**What are your contributions to the team?**
The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for analyzing and supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the systems and workflows that help the Indirect Goods & Services (IGS) Procurement organization achieve its objectives of value creation and improved efficiency. The BA will largely be responsible for overseeing Ariba catalogs and driving more spend to touchless transactions.
Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:
- Lead Ariba catalog enablement and automation, supervising Accenture technical teams to establish and maintain efficient buying channels, while driving user adoption and resolving catalog-related issues.
- Act as SME for the S/4HANA transformation, ensuring process standardization, system readiness, and seamless integration across procurement, finance, and logistics.
- Improve procurement project delivery by streamlining workflows, removing bottlenecks, and enhancing operational efficiency through standardized processes.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and catalog performance using SAP and Power BI, delivering actionable insights to senior management and supporting data-driven decisions.
- Collect, analyze, and troubleshoot IGS spend data, improve data integrity, and develop visualization tools to support Global Category Leaders.
- Enhance supplier collaboration and procurement transparency through training, documentation, and user support initiatives.
**How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:**
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management or Information Systems/Data Management
- You have 4-6 years of experience in procurement operations, continuous improvement, or data-driven supply chain roles.
- You are familiar with SAP Ariba (preferably Spend Analysis, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Catalog modules).
- You have basic exposure to SAP S4HANA or a strong interest in learning ERP tools.
- You have strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a plus.
- You are bilingual (French and English), both written and oral communication skills
- You are eager to learn and grow.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and an effective problem solver.
- You are a team player, adaptable and able to forge strong working relationships.

**Process Control and Optimization Specialist, Ear Falls, ON**
When you join our team as a **Process Control and Optimization Specialist** , you report to the Regional Manager, Northwestern Ontario Operations and will work in close collaboration with the technical team. You will be responsible for the implementation of control systems, programming on start-up projects, and daily operational issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for system specification, design, architecture, and development of automated systems with other team members of the Project personnel, Electrical technicians, Electricians, and operational crew to maximize Automation efficiency and meet needs within the sawmill.
**What You'll Do**
+ Leverages technical expertise to analyze, identify technical issues and implement solutions.
+ Develop and support Automation initiatives on many platforms.
+ Prepare Electrical Design, Programming, Instrumentation, and Industrial IT initiative to support start-ups for all other lumber units.
+ Train technician on Automation System.
+ Prepare configuration of various automation systems (process control systems, safety instrumented systems, biomass thermal and gas systems) including code development, ability to specify hardware needed as per projects or situation.
+ Responsible for implementing code, system simulation, operator training and commissioning support to all units.
+ Troubleshoot issues analysis, find, and implement solutions.
+ Develop standards, procedures, training manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use.
+ Oversee the use of communication networks for control of equipment and monitoring systems to include IP addressing and managed switches effecting process control.
+ Ensures project documentation according to management standards and expectations.
+ Participate in various other ad hoc projects as needed.
**What You Offer**
+ College degree in industrial electronic technology or equivalent.
+ Relevant experience in troubleshooting and programming with Schneider PLC running on the legacy LL984 language, Unity Pro, Wonderware, ControlLogix PLC and its programming suites.
+ Experience configuring control systems in a manufacturing environment with start-up projects experience within Sawmills. (Lumber industry).
+ Hands-on PLC programming installation/service engineering/troubleshoot hardware and peripheral devices such as VFD, Servo Motor and HMI.
+ Hands-on troubleshooting machine as a whole (electric, control and mechanic).
+ Understanding of the use of Automation in a Sawmill plant process and basic unit operations to assist with the design of process control strategies.
+ Understanding basic pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
+ Ability (valid driver license) and willingness to travel regularly.
+ Demonstrated leadership and excellent customer service skills.
+ Strong planning and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure.
+ Excellent analytic skillset, independent and initiative.
+ Strong work ethic, good judgment.

  • Apply prompt engineering and prompt engineering frameworks to optimize AI output for different business needs.
  • Create marketing materials, including written copy, graphics, and presentations, to promote AI initiatives.

  • Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering and familiarity with prompt frameworks.

  • Strong project management skills with hands-on Jira experience.
  • Proficiency in recording and editing videos (basic to intermediate).
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop New Training & Training Systems: Create the vision and strategy to lead the implementation of content and reporting for enterprise training and coaching initiatives focused on process improvement, change management and lean six sigma methodologies.
  • Train and Develop: Coaching and mentoring of business leaders, employees and Process Improvement Leaders on process improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate Broadly to lead Organizational Transformation: Develop strong cross-departmental relationships, leveraging interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and achieve goals.
  • Lead Process Improvement Projects: Spearhead initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in key business metrics, collaborating with cross-functional teams.


What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience: A mix of experience in areas such as:

  • Enterprise Training
  • Training Development
  • Lean Six Sigma Methodologies
  • Process Design & Systems Thinking
  • Digital Development Programming
  • Project Management
  • Product Management
